Top 3 Running Back predictions for me

Bush - Bust, I don't know why but there is just somethign about him that makes me think that
White - Pro Bowler, he just has that special thing and with his sizes and speed he could and pry will be a Mini Bus.
Williams - He will have an average career but nothing specia.

I disagree with you on DeAngelo Williams. I currently have him rated as the best pure runner and second best all around RB. He has great speed and strength. Just ask Greenway, he'll tell you how Williams faked him out during the Senior Bowl.

I think White is going to be a Jerome Bettis type player. 5-6 yard gain, but he's going to need a speed guy behind him to take it the distance. He's not going to be a 40 yard TD run type guy. If he had better top end speed, then I would probably put him second. He doesnt though, he's nothing more than a bruiser.

While I wonder if Bush can be an every-down back, I doubt he'll be a bust if he stays healthy. I think he'll be a star, actually.

The guy I would give the "Most Likely Bust of the Top 10 Picks" I'd go with Matt Leinert.

I don't know AR, it always seems like WR is the most unpredictible first round position to me. Lots of guys who get drafted there flame out. I have no reason to think Santonio Holmes won't be a great player, but I'm always a little skeptical of WRs.

Thats like comparing Marshall Faulk and Jerome Bettis. You cant do it, because they are so different. White is the goal line back, so of course he has more rushing TDs. With Bush, you have to bring up receptions as well and you cant do that with White because he's not nearly as effective as Bush in that area.

Oh, and put of the top 10 picks; I'd say that Vince Young is the most likely to be a bust.

Ya but still. Everyone is giving Reggie Bush all the hype for his performance that he had 500 and something all purpose yards. Yes I'm not taking away it was a great game because it was. I just think he is over hyped. I believe in my opinion that LenDale White is the best Runningback in the 2006 NFL Draft.

I believe that DeAngelo Williams is the best RB in the draft. He has the power to bust through the line and the speed to take it 80 yards afterwards. He was probably the most impressive player that I saw at the Senior Bowl. My only knock on White is that he lacks the burst to take the ball 60-70 yards. Bush and Williams both have the second gear that White just does not have.

I think the same thing about Bush for some reason, He's a great running back, It's just something about him like you said.

I agree with RJ39, but White would be a good addition to any team...a solid short yardage third down conversion/goal line backs are gold. Just keep moving those chains baby and who cares if he doesn't break "the big one".
