    Trade with Baltimore?

Baltimore has a big need for QB(Matt Ryan), but they wont get him at there current posistion of 1,8. What if we make a deal with them

    1,2

    for

    1,8
    2,8

Then turn around and trade the 2,2 and 2,8 for another mid-late first rounder and draft a good cornerback.

    Just a thought...

    Re: Trade with Baltimore?

Because neither Long nor Gholston won't be there at that point, though the 3rd best DE will be, most likely. Also, as opposed to trading back into the first round, I'd rather take two really good players as opposed to just one great player. Unless we only had to give up like a 4th to move up a few slots to pick up an OT that slipped. Lastly, I'm not sure Baltimore is a) wanting to draft a QB in the first, b) needs to because they have Troy Smith who has a chip on his shoulder, c) can't just use it's 2nd round pick to grab Flacco or Brohm probably if they wanted.

Very true Teke. Just a thought, im trying to think of all different scenarios to somehow land my boy DRC. I go to Tennessee-State and knew this guy was going to be a stud.

I think we'd need to get more than just an additional 2nd round pick out of that trade.

The Ravens probably do not need to spend a lot of resources to get an elite QB to run their system; they can very likely add someone in the middle rounds to compete for the future job. Besides, moving down from #2 to #8 for a second rounder is horrible value for us.

I agree with Nick. I think the Ravens can get a quality QB with out trading up, and I really think it would do us no good.
