Rumor is swirling that Atlanta is willing to trade the second of their three 2nd round picks to move up one to the Rams spot to guarantee they get Dorsey. That's #6 in the second round.

Yeah, sorry RebelYell but without a link i'm going to call "bs" on that one. Hell, even with a link I am........I don't think the Falcons are trading any of their 2nd rounders to move up one spot for Dorsey........

If that rumor were true, the Rams would have to be insane not to make the deal.

Heck, I'd switch with the Falcons for an extra fourth round pick. The Rams would still get Chris Long and a free pick.

AV I think the Rams are going to try and sell Dorsey as the pick. If they could get a 2nd thats nuts, but you never know. I would like Long and a 3rd.

The move from #3 to #2 is equal to their #17 pick in the second round (their third).

I don't think it is out of the question. If the Falcons are worried the Saints will be offering enough to get the Rams to trade, why not trade a second rounder if you have three?

Jim Thomas said on the radio this morning that he had heard the rumor and commented that the Rams are requiring the #1 of the Falcon three picks in the second. When mentioned that it really equated to the third on the sheet he said worst case they would take is second. If you want a written link, I suggest you search the net high and low.

I think that if the Rams have such a high value of Glen Dorsey that they want any of the Falcons 2nd round picks to move down one spot - if Rams like Dorsey that much - I think the Falcons will invite the Rams to just go ahead and take Dorsey......Falcons are not giving up a 2nd rounder for Dorsey.......i know your just reporting the "rumor" - i'm just telling you its not happening......if it does, I will come back here after draft and post a message saying "Falconator eats crow" - deal?
