Re: Two scenerios
I voted for #1, but I also would say that it is unlikely that Cody and Dwyer would both remain in Round 2.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Two scenerios
He's similar to Alan Branch, DT from Michigan... Branch was supposed to be a Top 15 pick, and fell all the way to the 33rd spot. Also, This RB class is getting really deep, so one of them is going to have to fall..

Nonetheless, I prefer option 1.

Re: Two scenerios
i think both of those options are unrealistic because guys probably won't fall that far in either scenario. i doubt mccoy, cody or possibly even dwyer fall to round 2, or best to round 3 for that matter.

I took scenario 1. Is Best considered a third rounder?

Re: Two scenerios
Option #1 for me. I'm not that big of a Cody fan, and I don't know if Norwood's best fit in the NFL is in a 4-3 scheme. Plus, I question the likelihood of Tampa offering that kind of a deal.

Re: Two scenerios
I'd be ecstatic with scenario 1. I watched a lot of Jahvid Best in the Pac-10, and while he was at times inconsistent, for the most part he was explosive and often unstoppable. If he has no lingering concussion issues, he'd be a great 3rd round pickup to go with Suh and McCoy. Yep, I'd be very excited with a draft that started with those three.

Re: Two scenerios
I like Scenario 2 just not the people you picked. I would have taken Jared Ordick, Brandon Lafell, and Jason Worilds.

Re: Two scenerios
Where's the "neither of the above" option?

Re: Two scenerios
I'm definitely taking option 1.........but I like the way you're thinking, kid.

Re: Two scenerios
Scenario 2 but with different players.
Jimmy Clausen, Demaryius Thomas, Brian Price, Jahvid Best sounds good to me.

Re: Two scenerios
Scenario 2. But I agree with Nick that Tampa probably would not pay two #2 picks which amounts to a premium to only draft a DT.
Premiums are usually paid to acquire the rights to a Franchise QB.
Therefore a more plausible deal would have Tampa Bay trading us their 1st, 2nd and 3rd this year and possibly a 4th or 5th next year, whatever made the draft values work out.
With all of this said the following players would be whom I would consider with our picks:
Rd. 1) Jimmy Claussen, QB
Rd. 2) Brian Price, DT
Rd. 2) Sean Weatherspoon, OLB
Rd. 3) Danario Alexander, WR
Rd. 3) Ciron Black, OT
At any rate, I like your thinking processes RF16. The key, however, is not what do we all think, but what is Billy and crew thinking. I keep getting the feeling that when all is said and done, he simply will NOT pass on a perceived franchise QB no matter what anybody else says.
WHAT SAY YE?

Re: Two scenerios
I voted 1 with the players you chose for options 1 & 2.
If it was diferent players I would have chosen 2.
I would take the trade down option.
I don't want the Rams to draft a QB or WR early in the draft.
I would rather draft a top notch Receiving TE in the draft than another WR.
I would rather sure up the O-line & D-line.
