    Re: The Ultimate QB Poll

I went Vick for a fifth rounder, Colt in the second.

Vick, for a couple years, to let Colt sit and learn, and hopefully give DeSpags enough time to build a strong supporting cast around him.

I went with Bulger and LeFevour and as of now, LeFevour seems to be the most popular choice

    Re: The Ultimate QB Poll

From what I see the only teams that need a quarterback are:

    Rams
    Redskin (probably Sam Bradford)
Bills- Depends if they want to continue with Trent Edwards
Broncos- Going to need to replace Brandon Marshall with Dez Bryant
Raiders- lol still stuck with Russell.
    Niners
    Vikings.

Clausen could fall down far enough for the rams to trade up to get him and still get suh with out it being to expensive picks wise.

I love the draft and its possibilities

You could add the Browns, Seahawks and maybe the Whiners and Jags if they like what they see, because Garrard and Smith aren't spectacular.

    Re: The Ultimate QB Poll

Rolling with Pennington/Pike. Pennington would be a much cheaper option than Bulger and brings much of the same skill set to the table. Seeing him drag the Fins to the playoffs a couple years back gives me some hope for him as a competitor.

I'd then like to see the Rams take Pike in round 3. I think he could fall a bit later in the round and we would either make a move down to snag him, or even trade back up with our 4th and maybe one of the extra 5th's. I still like Pike's potential and his size is a plus as well.

All of those team are kind of trapped due to huge paydays given to their QB's

David Garrad 6 yr $67 mil in 2008
Alex Smith 6yr $50mil 2005 (FA next yr)
Matt Hasselbeck 6yr $50mil 2005 (FA next yr)
    Brady Quinn 5yr $30mil 2007

Really I think its down to the vikes and Bills, Ram could get both of the guys they want. This might be moot if Tebow impresses with his new release, and if so he could be had in the 3rd round.

    Re: The Ultimate QB Poll

    I selected Bulger & LeFevour.

This will be Bulgers 2nd year learning the WCO he'll play alot better with more weapons.

Null, Rielly, LeFevour & maybe Rusty Smith undrafted Free agent to battle it out in traning camp.
