As of right now, the NFL coaches can have no contact with undrafted rookies. When we can here are the players I want to invite for visits.

He can be an option, but after todays draft I dont see it happening. We took 3 DB's in the later rounds. The only reason I would see us going after Will Hill is for ST's and it isn't worth it in that fashion.

Herzlich didn't get drafted? Even with the health concern, I would have thought he'd be snapped up by the 6th. We absolutely need to get him in, especially with the little/no risk of a rookie FA contract.

Herzlich without a doubt. With as much talent/upside as he has for no commitment we would be fools. But my guess is that quite a few teams have the same game plan. I was upset when we took that other OLB instead of him. Only problem I could see was that some analysists were projecting to me an ILB instead of an OLB

Undrafted rookies dont cost much to see what they have so I say sign and bring in any that you think have some talent. Here are a few I would look at signing.

Ian Williams could be a good pick up to add depth behind Robbins

We should have taken a flyer in the 7th on Herzlrich, he will be in high demand once the lockout is lifted, he fits our 4-pillars and could be a high-reward investment.

I really think Darren Evans could be a great rookie FA back. Good overall skill set, plus hes seen the field a lot.

I'm wondering why Duenta Williams went undrafted, he was projected by some as early as the second (even though we know how some of that stuff really works), but still there has to be a reason why he fell so far, right?

Derrick Locke, RB, Kentucky should be the first call we make when we can sign a Undrafted free agent.

It is our greatest need that can be replaced with a guy that is solid and played great in the senior bowls and workouts., etc...

Obviously, I still want Will Hill special I think his talent is so high for special teams and we drafted average Safeties...


and lastly bring in Terrance Toliver as a one year project the same same we brought in DX. Toliver was the number 1 rated WR in his class as a sophomore and has legit #1 Wideout tools 6ft4in and can run.

He needs a year of weight room but is the perfect guy for a one year project .

Ricardo Lockette went undrafted? hmm...seems like a guy to definitely bring in to camp. I believe we showed a lot of interest in him during the draft process.

Mark Herzlich is a guy that I have been calling for since Thursday. I would have taken a 5th round flier on him. Shocked no team even used a 7th rounder on him. Even if he doesn't pan out to be a starter in this league, he will be a pro bowl special teamer with his desire and will be an A+ member of any locker room. Bring him in to camp, he would fit right in here in STL.
