With us picking up Lloyd..what does this mean?
Well, it all depends on how he plays the rest of the season...duh...
Regardless if he plays well or not, we still need to draft a wr in the 1st round. unless Lloyd does good for us AND we somehow pick up Bowe in the offseason via FA(which i dont see happening now) we still need to draft a wr in the 1st round.
if Lloyd shows he can be a #1 wr, let alone a #2, we still need a beast along side of him.
So in no way, shape or form, do i think we shouldnt draft blackmon/jeffery in the early 1st round, and if by some miracle we win a bunch of games now, ill be content with taking floyd in the later half of the 1st.
p.s kirkpatrick has been falling recently in mock drafts, and its possible if he continues this trend to wine up in the 2nd round..food for thought.
what do you think brothers?

I still think we draft a WR in round 1 just like you. The only debate in my mind is what WR should we get (Blackmon, Jeffery, Floyd).

I heard Donnie Avery has a cousin that will be in the draft. Mel Kiper said he's faster than Avery was. Def go for him!!!!

Yeah things will continue to vary. The good part is this is one of the deepest secondary classes in very many years. Not only will we be able to land a playmaker at WR, in the 2nd round we can snag another nice corner.
Then Bartell, Fletcher, and Murphy come back, including the new pick, and CB is a position of strength all of a sudden.

Re: With us picking up Lloyd..what does this mean?
I would love to pick one of the big 3 then pick up KirkPatrick! Stupid sosa made me fall in <3 with him!! heck I wouldnt even be opposed to picking one of the big 3 WR's and trading up a bit from the front of the 2nd to get KirkPatrick if need be!!
Imagine:
WR:
(Floyd,Jenkins, Blackmon), Lloyd, Dx, Clayton, Pettis, Salas
CB:
Bartell, Kirkpatrick,Fletcher, Murphy, King (lmao j.k!!) and maybe another draft pick?
BEAST MODE!!!

Re: With us picking up Lloyd..what does this mean?
I really hope Lloyd's acquisition (and possible retention for beyond this season, should his contract be extended) doesn't convince this front office that we don't need any more improvements at WR going forward.
For the last two seasons, the Rams have worked under this mindset that if they make modest additions here and there to this group, it'll be enough. News flash, it hasn't been.
This team needs to go big and get a major talent at the position. I really hope they don't view Brandon Lloyd as that guy.
