Value in the Mid Rounds
The real steals are gonna be in the 3-5 rounds. Anybody got any steals for the mid rounds?
My picks:
-Kevin Thomas- CB
aggressive, fairly fast, and covers WR's like white on rice
-AJ Edds- SLB/WLB
6'4, 246lbs, specializes in coverage
-Austin Lane- DE
6'5, 276, small school all star, versitile, quick, and smart
-Alterraun Verner- CB
too small, too slow, but extremely productive against elite competition. Anomaly?
-Dorin Dickerson- WR
heavier and faster than Dez Bryant with really good hands, can be an over the middle/deep threat WR.
-Arthur Jones- DT
6'3, 300lbs, versatile pass rusher, but has some injury issues
-John Conner- FB
246lbs of badass. Excells at blocking on the run and blocking for the pass

Re: Value in the Mid Rounds
Jason Beauchamp -LB- UNLV
Plays sideline to sideline. Go watch the East West Shrine Game, He's all over the field.
Ryan Wolfe -WR- UNLV One of the best WR coming out of the Mountain West in a LONG time. probably wont get drafted because he broke his foot the second to last game of the season. He will be a steal for who ever signs him.Last edited by lostsoul; -04-07-2010 at 07:04 PM.

1. i say either Mike williams (syracuse) kids has crazty talent....big sleeper(theirsan article on him on espn i believe one of hte top stories) 2. Greg Hardy - another big sleeper when this kid is on he is very good, but injuries slowed him down... and 3. Jimmy Graham (Miami TE) big, athletic ......good speed and hands....but raw...

Here's a great video on Ryan Wolfe.
YouTube - UNLV WR Ryan Wolfe Highlight Reel
This man will be a steal any later than the 3rd round but he's not even in most mock drafts.
Watch how easily he gets seperation.

Re: Value in the Mid Rounds
he looks good, only prblem i see is that he reminds me of brian leanord. looks good now but might not look so good in the nfl. i do like him though, and think a later round pick ould be well spent on him. he seems like a never give up kinda player.

Re: Value in the Mid Rounds
I like RB Deji Karim from Southern Illinois. He's 5'-9" , 210 LBS and ran a 4.37 forty yard dash. His broad jump was 10'-3" and vertical was 43". That shows he has power as a runner. He averaged 7.1 yards per carry at Southern Illinois. I wouldn't care if Rams took him in the fourth round. The commentators would consider it a reach but he would be a great change of pace back.
