We are never gonna hear the end of this one:)
i'm relieved...the rams won't have to concern themselves about v. davis anymore...he'll be gone by pick 7...
Honestly with those numbers, I don't think he makes it out of the top ten. San Fran, Oakland, Arizona, and maybe even Detroit should give him a very good look.
I know Detroit's gone WR the last three years, but I can't help but think Mike Martz is drooling over the possibilities of adding a guy like Davis to really stretch the field.
Only one wide receiver ran a faster 40-time than Davis, and he's got the strength to boot. Incredible.
I don't see Arizona taking him, they need a RB.Quote:

Maybe somebody can explain this to me.
If Davis is so great, why did he have the following numbers last year:
Games: 10
Receptions: 27
Yards 441
TDs: 3
He had five games last year with only 1 reception.
Does the term "workout warrior" apply? Seems like it does.
Those were his numbers in 2004 as a sophomore. As a junior last year, he caught 51 balls for 871 yards and six touchdowns.Quote:

Don't fool yourself, I bet he'd find a spot for him, if Davis is as good as hyped.Quote:

He'd figure it out. Back at OC with his sole job making the offense work, he'd definitely make Davis a star.Quote:

v. davis was the main receiver for the terps last season...
no one else caught anything near his 51 rec...
when maryland lost to nc state last jan. in the most important game of their season davis was held to 8 catches for 108 yds and 1 TD...which looks nice on paper but having watched the game on my HD, davis didn't catch the TD and 4 of the grabs till the 4th qtr with 4:20 left withthe terps down 21 to 7...that means he only caught 4 catches for the first 3 qtrs...the second leading catcher on his side caught 3...
davis looks great against average teams but against good competition he tends to be average...his team recorded a 5-6 season...
and like a poster mentioned above, having v. davis rise to the top 10 will allow a good defender to fall to #11...
this just makes it all the more reason to get this guy (IF POSSIBLE) I'd love to see him on our team, I really think we could use this guy, just because we need a lot of defense, doesn't mean it would hurt to make our offense even better than ever. I mean, come on, don't you guys miss being called "The greatest show on turf"? I certainly do, I think it would be wise to get this guy. like I said, most of the guys on D just need to go in the right direction with haslett, and be taught well thats it...
