After saying the Rams should take Michael Crabtree second overall which I hope we don't (if anything I want them to use that possibility as a smokescreen to trade down a few picks)

Wait...weren't both Holt and Bruce 6 feet and less than 200 pounds? So wouldn't a 5-11 Avery and a 6-1 Burton be enough size to match what was the greatest tandem of WR's in the history of the NFL? I am not saying they have enough talent to do this, but their size shouldn't be a factor in who we draft.

If you read the rest of his analysis he says the Rams could sign Crabtree to help seell tickets. I don't think that is completely far fetched it actually makes a little sense.

That's not a sad thing...it's sad when people are so set on the player they think their team should pick that they would refuse to root for someone else if their player isn't picked.

Even though I really want Raji, I would be a huge Michael Crabtree fan if the Rams decide to pick him. I wouldn't buy a jersey though. I'm saving my jersey money for 2012 when the Rams pick Blaine Gabbert as the QB of the future in the first round.

Hmm...Steve Smith! He is a small player, however he makes the probowl and he's a top receiver that everyone knows about due to his talent on the team.

Holt also came into a very favorable situation, so those numbers can be taken with a grain of salt.

I think we need a good foil to Avery. A taller player for jump balls, or a physical player to run tough routes over the middle (assuming McMichael isn't up to it!).

Seems to me that Looker and Burton could fill the "over the middle role".
