    Walter's latest

Looked at Walter's mockdraft. What do you think of this, I kind of like it.

Trade with falcons for this yrs 2nd rd and next yr 2nd(although I think 1st is more appropriate)

    1st Rd
    6th spot: Jake Matthews OT Texas A & M
13th spot: Aaron Donald DT Pitt

    2nd Rd
37th spot: Bradley Robley CB Ohio St.
44th spot: Jimmy Ward S Northern Illionis

    3rd Rd
75th spot: Tajh Boyd QB Clemson

    4th Rd
106th spot: Dakota Dozier G Furman(was projected here before the knowledge that Saffold was retained)

    5th Rd
141th spot: Mike Davis WR Texas

The 4th and 5th selections I'm not so sure about but the first 3 rds seem pretty interesting. What do you guys think?

Too high for Boyd IMO, and I doubt the receiver would make the team. Otherwise, that looks pretty good.

Not a big fan myself. Love Matthews, I understand Donald and he will be good but a CB/FS there will help the Rams more. Ward at 44 is nice but I don't like Roby at all. Being a fan of Clemson I watched a lot of their games and not convinced Boyd would be anything more than Jason Campbell. Not comparing them physically just Boyd looks like a QB that will come in be decent if unspectacular and not win many games.

Thinking Replacing Boyd with Brandon Coleman and someone else for the Texas WR and it would be better!

Agree, if were gonna draft a starting Safety it will be either HaHa or Pryor. IMO this is a week Safety class and I don't see anybody else out there who could start from Week 1

Doubt seriously that Fisher will draft Mathews. I believe our first pick will be and should be, a playmaker on either side of the ball.

Would prefer at least 3 QBs to Tahj Boyd at that spot.

Like the trade, don't like the picks, but don't know what was available, and if other deal down OR up available.

And Taj Boyd has been helping his stock all off season.

He'll be a fourth or fifth round pick, you can bank on it.

I'm not a Roby fan. He is way too much looks like Tarzan , plays like Jane for me. Fuller is a better player in my opinion.

    Re: Walter's latest

In that Draft Fuller was already gone.

I liked it cause we got one of the elite OTs, an Kick butt DT who I think when paired with Long, Brockers, Donald, Quinn. It would be insane, The new fearsome foursome!

Still get a good quality(which seems debatable)CB and FS, then in 3rd get what some seem to think has the chance to be really good in Brandon Colemna(he was available at the pt and who I would switch for). The last two can be BPA.

I like seeing different options helps me break out of comfort zone looking at all the possibilities. For sure though is enhancing my hope for a trade down somehow!

My basic problem is that we'll be scoring 15 ppg. At what point do we get serious about our offense?

Fifteen until our injury prone line goes down. Then with nothing to back it up we'll be seeing a couple 50+ from GZ for our scoring highlights.

If we go from 21.8 point per game with Kellen Clemons at QB, down to 15 points per game with Bradford, maybe we should get rid of Bradford.

    Just sayin'......
