Warren could test market Position: DT
Broncos | Warren could test market
Tue, 27 Feb 2007 21:01:50 -0800
Updating a previous report, Lee Rasizer, of the Rocky Mountain News, reports Denver Broncos DL Gerard Warren could refuse to re-structure his contract in the hopes the team will cut him. The free-agent market for defensive tackle is thin this year and Warren might be able to command a new contract with a sizable signing bonus should he be released. Negotiations are expected to continue until free agency begins Friday, March 2.

Re: Warren could test market Position: DT
That would be huge. He would be the perfect fit for the Rams at DT. He's amazing as well.

Re: Warren could test market Position: DT
Warren would be the best option for the Rams he ahs size and speed.
I hope this happens becasue the DTs in FA are either un tested or not very good.

Re: Warren could test market Position: DT
That'd be a great pickup...I have my doubts though, this year's free-agency (well... the list of FA positions WE need) is just crappy imo.

Always and Forever a fan of the St. Louis Rams

Re: Warren could test market Position: DT
i, for one, say we should do it. apparently all the draft 'experts' say all the top prospects at defensive tackle (outside of okoye), have 'motivational issues' or are sluggish. due to our lack of success drafting tackles in the past i say we pick up an established player rather than throw the dice again.
