As we stand on the eve of FA.....
....our free agency will come down to:
Out --- Torry Holt & Orlando Pace
In --- Ron Bartell, Jason Brown, Leonard Weaver
And that's it!
The $14 mil saved by Holt and Pace will be pretty much devoured by Bartell, Brown and Weaver. There might be a minor WR or SS that signs, but that will just about cover it until we get to the draft.
And while we're at it, tomorrow's lottery numbers are .........

Re: As we stand on the eve of FA.....
Ah yes ... How sweet that would be !! I am glad to see I'm not the only one daring to hope for Brown .. Don't know what to think about Bartell, as there are all kinds of crazy numbers being tossed around related to what he'll command on the open market. But heck, if we could afford 36 mil for Bennett, why not 40 mil for Ron? Leonard Weaver would be a nice addition as well.

Doesn't look like we have the money to compete for bartell or brown.
James Butler would be a nice addition and affordable. We have a LOT of roster spots to fill with little money, so a bunch of lesser known guys will be brought in. It sucks but it's true.

Leonard Weaver is a FB right? Anyways, from what I have seen I like this guy and I think he would be a good fit.

I'm so stoked for tonight! Not only for the Rams, but for the other teams as well. I love the off season in the NFL.

I would go James Butler instead of Weaver, but if we pulled off getting Jason Brown I would be ecstatic.

Re: As we stand on the eve of FA.....
I hope the Rams can sign Bartell and Brown. That would be great. That would fill one of the weak spots on a Rams Team. Barron to LT & J. Smith or E. Monroe to RT . that would fix the O-line until next year When Barron becomes a freeagent. It is alot easier to find a RT than a LT in Draft. If the Rams don't think J. Smith or E. Monroe can play LT after a year of experience at RT. The Rams can then draft again hoping to find that star LT..
J. Smith or E. Monroe can play RT the rest of their career.
