What about Josh Freeman?
Some mocks have Freeman going in the 1st. Some have him going in the 2nd. Few have him going in the 3rd.
I know Getting Josh Freeman in the 2nd round for us is not too good of an idea cuz of our LB need.
However what if he falls to the mid 2nd round? Do we send a package of our 3rd and Torry Holt or Orlando Pace to get him.
What if he does indeed fall to us in the 3rd do we pick him up then?

I've been e-mailing a Rams coorespodent for Draft Tek for a week now. I've been telling him that the Rams will choose Eugene Monroe over A. Smith, J. Smith, and Aaron Curry. But he kept on saying Monroe wont be the pick cuz he lacks physicality.
I just got an e-mail from him today saying that A. Smith will not be the pic for the rams (obviously) And he gave me a trade scenerio:
Chicago Bears get:
Torry Holt
Rams 2nd round pick (#35)
Rams 3rd round pick (#66)
Rams Get:
Nathan Vasher
Bears 1st round pick (#18)
I really like this deal. Cuz we move Torry Holt's 10+ mil cap hit (32 years old) and get Nathan Vasher's 4.5 mil cap hit (i think) and vasher is 27 and signed through 2012.
We alsomove up 17 picks by giving up a 3rd rounder that we would have used to take a DB in the 1st place. I like how this deal goes for us.
Why the Bears would do the trade: They need a #1. Last year there top 2 WRs (Loyd and Davis) combined for had 61 rec, 809 yrds, 4 TDs. Holt alone had 64 rec, 796 yrds, 3TDs on a down year. And Nathan Vasher missed the last half of last year with a groin injury and they still finished (9-7). Also they can just wait till the 2nd round to take DE if Orakpo and Brown come off the board.
What do you think about this deal from a Rams point of view?

Re: What about Josh Freeman?
I'm really not a Josh Freeman fan. He has all the physical tools but hasn't put it together mentally and technically. Honestly, I question whether he ever will. I would have liked to see him go back for another year to improve his technique, consistency, and accuracy.

Re: What about Josh Freeman?
I think Freeman is right up there with Sanchez and Stafford. If he drops to us in the second i pray we draft him.
