What is Chris Longs Jersey Number ?

ON the NFL Network they showed a clip of Longs Jersey as #75 , after Draft . I also heard Long say he does not want #75. Then on Rams offical web site , his Jersey is selling as number 98 .
Does anyone know what his Jersey number will be .

I thought I saw it posted a day or 2 back saying his number was officially 98.

On the Rams' official website both C.J. Ah You and Chris Long are #98.

Guess we'll see during Training camp? Or after...

It's officially 98 right now, but sometimes that stuff changes at camp or during preseason depending on cuts.

The 75 jersey you saw on the network was a tribute to Chris' dad, Howie Long. That's the number he wore for the Raiders. Considering that the jersey was ready the morning after the draft, one, the Rams knew he'd be their pick, and two, they were just being nice. They really had no idea what number he would want, they just wanted to show him what it could look like.
