What Do Teams Being Sold or Moving Do?

    1. They cut guys to save money for the future, and let own players walk.
    2. They do NO long term deals
    3. They really don't do all they can to try to win
    4. They keep quiet about everything that is happening.
    5. They do lots of PR about minor leaguers and draft picks fixing problems.

Yea, we have ONE extra # pick to fill a hole, but weren't Pead and Quick gonna fill the holes created by Jackson leaving and at WR? They have been "filling holes"with second and third rounders for years, mostly finding t he same holes there a year later.

When fans look out and see Rod McLeod at FS again, and a line full of rookies and old bums getting Bradford killed, they will see what a ridiculously flawed plan they have in place.

Clearly the guys running the team have been told their jobs are safe, even with another .500 or under season.

Just saying, if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, maybe it 's a duck, and the Rams suddenly, and inexplicably, have reversed their course to try to compete now.

That sets off alarms in anyone's heads.

You are all over the place but I will just say a few things here. So we didnt over spend on anyone and im happy about that. Mcleod wasnt dreadful at Safety and Greg Williams will get the most out of these guys. We have scheduled a visit with gaurd Davin Joseph from Tampa Bay so its not like they arent going to go get anyone. There are some o-lineman still out there as well.

Also go find me one team that hits on every player they pick every year. So we missed on Pead and Quick it seems we hit on Austin and Stacy. Youre not going to hit on them all.

Weve hit on a far higher percentage of picks than previous regimes did. As for the oline we didn't resign last years bums which is a good thing.

I think Fisher and Snead learned their lesson when they signed Cook and Finnegan to record-like contracts and both have disappointed.

Or we could just be moving.....

I feel much better now. I love your posts, but I think you're out there with this one. I need more evidence than 1 day into free agency before signing on to that notion. Sorry Barry.

    Go Rams!

Cutting under-performing and overpaid veterans is obviously the wrong thing to do...
    2. They do NO long term deals
Yep, they were really quiet in free agency the past two years and let Chris Long and Laurinaitis walk
    3. They really don't do all they can to try to win
    *facepalm*
    4. They keep quiet about everything that is happening.
Whilst perennial playoff teams like New England are completely transparent with the media.
    5. They do lots of PR about minor leaguers and draft picks fixing problems.
    *double facepalm*
Did I miss some obvious sarcasm here or is this post as logic defying as it appears on the surface?

Oh, you mean when they signed Cortland Finnegan to a 50 million contract, Jake Long to a 35 million dollar contract, Jared Cook to a 35 million dollar contract, extended Chris Long to a 65 million dollar contract, and extended James Laurinaitis to a 45 million dollar contract?

    Right.................

“When you look at free agency, this is the year we’ve targeted probably to be a little less active ... than others,” Rams executive vice president Kevin Demoff said.

Now I did not attend any lunches or hang out with Rams executives this off season, but I got the memo: not shocked by our lack of participation early.

Barry, I think you would do well in So Cal.

If Barry moves to So Cal, I can only imagine what he'll think about the moves that the Chargers are doing!

OH MY GOD, How do you give $10 million to a loser like Donald Brown!
    I believe!

Plenty of time for moves to be made and oh by the way...2 of the top 13 picks in hand. It might be a TAD early to break out the conspiracy theories.
