What do YOU think is the Rams' biggest personnel need?
Thought I'd see what ClanRam thought in terms of the biggest personnel need on this team right now.

Re: What do YOU think is the Rams' biggest personnel need?
LB. Coakley is old and Claiborne seems to lack any toughness. I guess those years in Minnesota really drained him.
Next would probably be at TE. Manumaleuna is inconsistent and puts the ball on the turf far to much. We all saw what a great TE did to San Diego's offense. St.Louis now needs a great TE

I'm sure teams with actual O-lines will line up to take him off our hands for us.
I'm curious how everyone would fill in this blank.
If we only had _________ at RB, he could get our running game going.
Let me go ahead and answer for you........there is no answer. No name you put in that blank will be correct. Not '84 Dickerson, not '03 Lewis, not '97 Sanders, not '98 Davis, not '73 OJ, not even '63 Jim Brown can open up a running game with any consistency when he gets hit in the backfield by D-linemen more often than not.

Members of the coaching staff were not included in the poll because this is a thread about personnel, meaning the players on the field.

Re: What do YOU think is the Rams' biggest personnel need?
I voted TE and here is why. With the officials really looking closely at the 5 yard bump rule, the TE has become a major offensive weapon. Could you imagine a REAL pass catching TE in this offense?

Re: What do YOU think is the Rams' biggest personnel need?
Fair enough Nick...I see you specified POSITION in your poll list...'PERSONNEL' is however, an ALL ENCOMPASSING term for anyone employed by the franchise...hence the often used SPECIFIC term 'PLAYER PERSONNEL'. Your thread title just said "personnel"...and the COACHING STAFF certainly falls under that term.

Re: What do YOU think is the Rams' biggest personnel need?
i agree with the d coordinator...
we have good talent on our defense but the lack of improvement and maturation process in a system two seasons old is a sign that we need changes from the instructor on down...

Re: What do YOU think is the Rams' biggest personnel need?
I'm sorry guys, but to me to see talent on this defense is stretching it. I say, we have one maybe two people on our defense that would start on every other team in the NFL. Pickett would get a starting job anywhere, and I would have to say Little MIGHT. Just might.
