Re: What does Suh bring to our ballclub...
No no no no my friend... The offense by default will go up and play better I feel just off of getting older and more experienced period.. there is no where to go for the offense but up. I believe with a healthy o-line consisting of Smith, Bell( maybe), Brown, FA or rookie, FA or rookie we could be onto something

Re: What does Suh bring to our ballclub...
Suh brings an elite skill to clog the middle and disrupt pockets. There were times in his collegiate career that forced other teams to triple team him. He has better production than entire defensive lines at this level.
This would leave plenty of one on ones on the outside, and Chris Long could probably win most of those.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Devaney, if you care about this team... fire the offensive coordinator!!!!

Re: What does Suh bring to our ballclub...
Let's be clear here - he was accused of spitting on Daniel by Sean Weatherspoon (from what I've read, Daniels himself couldn't identify the supposed spitter), and it's an charge Suh adamantly denies. Suh's own words on the issue: "I know I would never do something like that; that's ultimate disrespect to someone."
To my knowledge, it's never been proven one way or the other, and is basically just one guy's word against another. Being that the Missouri-Nebraska rivalry is one of the oldest in the Big 12, it's not entirely shocking that one side would throw out accusations about the other side. Doesn't necessarily make them true, unless you've got a source to the contrary.

Re: What does Suh bring to our ballclub...
Indeed. I'd love to know exactly where this alleged spitting came from. Ndamukong is much like Grant Wistrom in that he is a very high character individual. That hasn't changed from the time he was 18. He rarely gives one on one interviews post-game as he's not a fan of them. Kind of shy actually. When he speaks in a press conference or say to ESPN, it's a rare glimpse.
Suh doesn't have to spit on Chase Daniel or any other quarterback. As seen via Colt McCoy, he can do far more damage to you mentally by just playing the game.

Re: What does Suh bring to our ballclub...
Lies! Is it just killing you as a Mizzou fan that he is a Husker? Suh is a high character guy. All the evidence supports it. He was in a car accident in Nov that was his fault (he hit 3 parked cars). He stopped and called the cops, he was not drunk, and overall handled it like a man. Normally that kind of behaviour would be unremarkable, but for NFL players that deserves praise.
Suh is not the kind of player that will shoot himself in the foot/leg, on field or off. He is The Best Player in the draft, hands down.
Who gives a crap that the Rams have picked a bunch of sub-standard DT's in the past? We need help on the D-line today. GoRams.A defeated look of consternation, dissappointment, or even pain. The name derives from the look one often gets when challenged by a large BM.

What will he bring to us
an instant Jimmy Kennedy/Ryan Carikker/Carriker esque playmaking ability
jk
more like an instant mean joe greene esque playmaking ability
jk
who knows if he will be a hall of fame that everybody is saying. However he is the correct pick to go with unless he stock goes down in the combine. He is one of those players willing to get better and wants to get better at the game. His work ethic combined with his talent and character is perfect for our Defense. We pretty much need to bulk up in all aspects right now, and Suh has the chance to instantly put our d-line in the top half of the league
