Not sure if this has been covered, but if we indeed can trade Holt instead of release him, what could we expect in return and who would be interested?

Randy Moss had age on his side also, I was thinking more in the 4th round range. Guess teams will wait to see what our free agent moves are and how much money we have left in the pot. Will determine if we have to release him.
Titans I think would have to give the 3rd as they're so low in the round. I'd place him at between a mid 3rd to a high 4th. Maybe a 4th this year and a 3rd next.
I can see a 4th round pick for sure, but again these teams know how to play the wait and see game and time is not on our side with current cap issues.
well first Randy Moss was traded for a 4th..but that was based on the fact that his production was low in Oakland(whose isnt?:D) plus Moss infamously walked out of a game before it was over in Minnesota..
..Holt is probably a "safer" pick than Moss was at the time of his last trade...due to the fact that Moss has a history as a bit of an headcase..
all said and without comparing Holt to any other players..id say 3rd or 4th seems fair..tho due to him possibly being cut it may be less..
