The "what if Blackmon declared for the draft" alternate Univerise Game

Just wondering if Blackmon had declared this year, would it be him of Julio that would have dropped to Rams (Would 3 WR's go before the 14th pick?)

This draft could have been so much different in the direction this team went if it got a 1st round WR. I cant quite remember but i think it was Blackmon and AJ Green that were the top 2 prospects at the time before Blackmon decided to stay in College.

Just wondering aloud coz as happy as i am with the direction the draft went, i would feel pretty good if we got Blackmon this year.

2012 what if: If we do well this year and looking at Deep postseason we could trade up to get Blackmon who will still be a top10 prospect. Also i also like Alshon Jeffery as a big possesion receiver.

if we do bad this year, well we might not need to trade up ...

Also i forgot to mention that i guess the jury is still out on Pettis and Salas but by the end of 2011 if Gibson, Robinson, Gilyard, Avery & DX cant prove themselves and overcome injury then we might get thin on the WR front next year. If they do well i guess WR wont be a great need next year.

With more ofences going to the pass first option the WR positition will become a greater priority in the NFL.
Thats why star RB's coming out of college are dropping almost out of the first round. Mark Ingram as a Example.
That is another reason why the Atlanta Falcons moved so far up in the draft to get JJ.
I just wish teams would give some players time to develope in the NFL. Not all players show greatness as a rookie.
