Oh, Teke! You're calling for the magical unicorn........trading out of the top spot.

Do you remember all the people that were saying we should draft Suh and pick up a QB this year? I'm glad we didn't listen to them!

Actually I was thinking from our current spot at 14... if we had the one spot this year? I'd probably still try to trade down, but under sell it for a 2nd round or just next year's 1, and take Dalton. No trades... I'd take Cam. No real red flags, especially from what his JUCO coach and Gruden have been saying.
    I believe!

I know I'm going to take alot of heat for taking Mallett at 14. (The same type of rumers were being said about Dan Marino when he came out.) Almost all scouts say he is the most NFL ready (From pro style offence) and the best passer in draft class.

No red flags? I believe Gruden asked Cam if he knew very much of the wording in the NFL. Cam went on to say that at Auburn they were simple plays. Such as 36 could be a entire play were as in the NFL they are more complex

as i don`t grade any of the QB`s top 15 picks let alone number 1, i`d pass on the QB at that pick and take Dalton in the 2nd. he seems to have a better QB IQ than any of the supposed 1st round QB`s and then just see how things pan out..i wouldn`t be thinking "oh we can just take Luck next year" tho..last year some of us thought we could hold off picking a QB and take Locker..we can all see now that he isn`t as appealing this year as he was back then.

You mean like buying a stolen laptop, soliciting money from colleges (Yes he denied involvement, but come on, common sense says he knew), calling himself an icon and an entertainer, and lack of displaying any refined QB skills? I call those all red flags.

I'd go with Gabbert, but truth be told, none of the QBs this year do it for me. Then again, every single year, the next year has better QBs.
