Re: What is "Plan B" for Round 1 of the Draft?

As someone who thinks that WR is not necessarily the biggest need(I'd prefer to address through FA and resigning Clayton, anyway), I have to say that the "Plan B" is to go BPAWPNBF, specifically going after OLB, CB, and DE. After 3 years of being at the top of the draft, we finally have a chance to let the draft come to us.

If the two WR's have been taken, and hopefully people have gone a little QB crazy, with Newton, Gabbert, and maybe even Locker/Mallett taken, that means that there will have been a fair deal of downward pressure on defensive prospects. We'll take a strong look at all of them at the combine, school workouts and then bring a couple in to St. Louis. At the end of the day, at this point, I think that the DL prospects are better than the OLB, as both Miller and Ayers have limitations to their games, and are also more numerous(Smith, Paea, Clayborn and Jordan).

So, summing it all up, I go after the best DL prospect that Spags likes.

    I believe!

Plan B has to be Torrey Smith. He looks like he could be the next Torry Holt but bigger/stronger. The whole league has become overly obsessed with size because of Calvin Johnson, Andre Johnson & Vincent Jackson so we could trade back a little and still get him. He is a real character guy too which not only Spags bit also McD has a history of drafting.

    I went trade down.
The players I like will probly be gone.
    "DE" R. Quinn, A. Smith & C. Jordan
    "DT" N. Fairly & M. Dareus
    "CB" P. Peterson & P. Amukamara
If one of those players slid down to the Rams at 14, take him. I think all gone.

I like the Idea of picking up a extra 2nd or 3rd round pick by moving down some spots.
    I like the WR's T. Smith, L. Hankerson & J. Baldwin.
