Re: The "What will we do with the 2" Contest

    Anyways, here's my take:
Cleveland for 4th overall pick, swap 2nd rounders, and a 2013 2nd rounder.
Surely I'm not reading you correctly. Because what I see is:

    Rams get --- #4, #37, and 2013 2nd rounder
    Browns get --- #2, #33

If the Rams did this deal, I would go back in a time machine and seduce Jeff Fisher's mom just to guarantee that she never met his father thereby eliminating Jeff Fisher from existence. Please tell me I'm not reading your deal correctly.

I still don't think that the Browns are going to give up the two 1st rounders. I have read that the squawks could be trying to trade. Why would the Rams give RGIII to a rival, even if they trade everything?

I think that Holmgreen might not be that big of a RGIII fan.

I think we will get Redskins 1st, 2nd, 3rd and next years 1st and 3rd.

Nothing that I know for sure. Just an article I read a few weeks ago as well as Radio show I was listening to. As we know media is rarely right, they just do it for the stories. However I heard in a radio show if Holmgreen has to give up too much he would rather pick a value QB later in the draft. And that he also might not be a fan of RGIII. This is ofcourse on a Radio show interview not with Holmgreen, so who knows if the show purely speculated or actually has some info.

P.S. AV should make this more interesting and give rep to those who get it exactly correct, or at least close to it. Your rep power looks very smeaxy right now.

There is no such thing as unfair in this situation. If the Browns want RGIII they need to outbid any other trade suitor. You think that the Redskins won't offer more then a swap of second rounders and a second rounder next year? Of course they will. Any team would offer more. The Patriots would probably give that up, even with Brady there. Do you know why? Because it's such a terrible deal for the Rams that the other team would be the obvious winner

This draft is too deep. The baseline has got to start with 2 1st round picks. I really do not want a 1st round pick this year and wait til next year for the other.

Trade with Browns for 2 1sts and their 2nd.

    1.4- Blackmon
    1.22- OL- reif/kontz/castro/martin

rnd 2 from Browns we take OLB- Brown/Irvin if available.

I think you just spoiled the plot of the next Terminator sequel.

As for the prize for winning this contest... sure, I can float the winner some rep. No problem.

    I say we get the Dolphins 2012 1st, 2nd, and 5th and 2013 1st and 3rd.....

Dolphins don't want to spend that much money for Flynn and they already have a pretty good team ....

You can't fathom how much I pray you're wrong.

I think we'll end up with either 2 firsts (4 and 22 this year, or 4 this year and their 1st next year) a 2nd and a 5th from Cleveland or.........

    2 firsts, a 2nd and a 3rd from Washington.

My bad, I typed this after finishing a paper.

I forgot to include Cleveland's 22nd overall pick. so it goes

    Cleveland gives 1.4, 1.22, 2.37, and a 2013 2nd rounder
    Rams give 1.2, 2.33

    Trade with Browns:
    2012: #4, #22, #36 (2nd rounder)
    2013: 3rd rounder

2012 picks: #4 WR Justin Blackmon(OK State), #22 G David DeCastro (Stanford), #34(original Rams Pick) DT Fletcher Cox (Miss. St.), So hard but see us taking a OLB here and I'm not 100% sure if these guys are OLB's in a 4-3 but either or, #36 OLB (Will LB) North Carolina's Zach Brown or (Sam LB) Arizona State's Vontaze Burfict.

I'll go off the beaten path and say we trade with the Jets for 2012 picks 1.16, 2.15, and 3.14, 2013 picks 1 and 4, and Santonio Holmes and Shonn Green.

Still not a fan, but for this deal Mrs. Fisher's honor could stay intact.
