What would if take for the Rams to strike a deal with the Saints?
What would it take for the Rams to strike a deal with the Saints and trade our number 2 pick (Worth 2600 points) in the draft.
For starters we would get their 10th pick (Worth 1300points) but even if they added their 2nd round pick, it would be worthwhile (in terms of points)
Also if we drop to 10th, who do we go for?
Re: What would if take for the Rams to strike a deal with the Saints?
unless they are willing to offer more than a 1st and 2nd i dont think it would be worthwhile pulling the trigger...remember we`d be giving up on signing a player with far more potential to be a great player in the NFL than we could get at 10!
if they said something like 1st,2nd this year and a first next year, then id consider it but not for just a 1st and 2nd this year!
Re: What would if take for the Rams to strike a deal with the Saints?
it would be something like their 1st, 2nd, will smith/charles grant( forgot which one is in a contract didspute) and another 1st next year
Re: What would if take for the Rams to strike a deal with the Saints?
If they could somehow include Jammal Brown in the package then I'd be all for it.
But we can safely say that's...not gonna happen.
Re: What would if take for the Rams to strike a deal with the Saints?
They won't give up Jammal Brown, that is a given, Bulger. However, Will Smith definitely got jealous last year with the deal that Grant signed, so he could be a tradeable player. I think if they offered #10, next year's 1st and either a 2nd or a 3rd this year along with Smith I'd be happy.
As for who we go after? Ryan Clady or Branden Albert. Keith Rivers would also be a possibility.

I'd trade our pick for their pick and Will Smith or Jamaal Brown. Nothing else.
