What would it take for Lions to move up to 2nd

Just wondering how much people would require in return for Lions moving up to 2nd to draft Watkins I am presuming on some reports stating there is an interest there.

I would through this and next years 1st & 2nd for our 2nd pick.

4 picks decent picks for the 1 would that be enough for some people or is it to much/not enough?

    This year's 2nd and 3rd, and next year's 1st.

I'm sorry; I assumed a swap this year, of course. So in all for our #2, we would get their #10, #45, #76, and next year's 1st.

Just to hypothesize some names, we're turning our #2 into.....oh I don't know, I'll go with Justin Gilbert, Jordan Matthews, Deone Buchanon, and maybe Cedric Ogbuhei or Cameron Erving next year. Add to that our own #13, #44, and #75, and this would be a very nice move by the front office once again.

I thought as much just wanted to make sure!

I think at 10, if we did move down (and depending on free agency) I'd be looking at guys like Dennerd, Gilbert, Lewan and Mike Evans. And then any top 5-8 talent that may have slipped for some reason, like Mack or Jake Matthews.

That's 1300 points on the draft trade chart.

The 10th pick in rd 2 is 480. The 10th in rd 3 in 220

SO you would owe 600 points, which is the last rd one pick.

SO it would take their second and third this year and #1 in 2015, at the very least.

Would suck to lose out on Robinson, Matthews, and Watkins, but given this is such a deep draft it might be a great move, and with the extra 1 for next year, could help in getting top players in what might be a top heavy draft with not much in the middle or end.

every time you could get another first round pick the following year including some 2nd and 3rds...do it

who else has ever had 2 first round picks THREE years in a row?

heck, could even continue getting a fourth or fifth 2nd first round pick in a row

    just insane
