I don't feel Tavon is worth the packaging of any picks. If hes there at 22 maybe, but there are other options in this draft like Robert Woods, Keenan Allen, DeAndre Hopkins to name a few (as I do not think Corderelle Patterson will be there at 16). I also think that DaRodgers, and Justin Hunter are viable options as well at some point in the draft. Im not sure there are any Calvin Jones' in this years WRs corps and Id rather see better players at there respective positions taken when the Rams draft in R1.

There's plenty of Calvin Jones' in the draft, but like Calvin himself, they'll probably have to hope for an undrafted free agent invite following the draft.

The Rams will draft Tavon if he is there at #16. Count on it. From what I've heard from a guy that should know, the Rams absolutely love him.

Givens was on the radio yesterday and said he wasn't physically prepared for the NFL season last year and the physical pounding it delivered. He talked about his workout schedule and how he's in far superior shape going into 2013. Mike Jones commented he looked like a different man physically.

I thought Givens and Austin were essentially the same player but it appears the Rams certainly don't see them that way.

Edit: now I see Scouts has an article about Patterson so I'll repeat what I've heard. Patterson's interview was supposedly horrible and the Rams have dropped him so low he's basically undraftable for them. The Rams and a lot of teams have serious doubts about his mental ability to ever learn a basic NFL playbook. Elite physical tools.

Do you have a link for this?

I've searched and have not been able to find a single report claiming to have information regarding how Patterson's meeting with the Rams went.

I have also looked for this and came up empty. If you have a link pls share to confirm your statement if you would.

On path to the draft on the NFLN it was said he has had some bad interviews and was slipping on some boards. I have not heard he had a bad interview with the Rams though.
