    CORTLAND FINNEGAN!

2nd round draft DT/CB and sprinkle in some other free agent add-ons and the Defense could be patched up real quick!

Although I like a lot of the choices and would like a couple of them I went with Carl Nicks however you slice it, it all starts in the trenches.

Ya I'm going with Vincent Jackson. First things first you have to score points in the NFL and Sam needs a target!!

This was a hard hard question..

I would say Vincent Jackson, but I don't see him coming to us b/c I think he will target 1) a consistent winner or 2) a team that can pay him a huge contract.

    Sadly, we offer neither.

So with that being said, I say we go after Marcus Colston, he has a ring already and will come at a cheaper price. Next we hope & pray that we can grab J. Blackmon at #6; that gives us: Colston, Blackmon, Amendola, Pettis, & Salas(not bad if you ask me).

Cortland Finnegan. If I had Rams-based nightmares, the image of a rookie Torrey Smith burning past Justin King all day long would be the signature image of 2011.

    For me it's Jason Jones.

He's the best interior lineman on the market (Solai, IMO, is best in a 3-4), and there isn't a DT worth selecting at #6 overall. We need to shore up the middle of our D, and we're likely going to struggle to do it during the draft. I expect Cox and Poe to be gone by the time we pick at #32 (assuming the Saints forfeit their first rounder). For me the logic is that we're going to be in a pretty good position to address either WR or CB at #6 overall as well as finding a Colston or a Finnegan in Free Agency, so we should target the position we can't address in the draft first in Free Agency.

As much as I think that the games are won in the trenches, we DESPERATELY need a wide receiver. The FA and draft pool are deep on the offensive line. However the pool for receivers isn't as deep. If you watched any game this year, you would have seen receivers that couldn't get separation, stretch the field, or catch the ball. Because I think that Vincent Jackson is out of our league, I voted for Colston

I would be happy with any of them. I just the Rams can land a couple and fill a couple holes prior to the draft.

Colston's my top choice but would be very happy with any of these guys.

    Colston, Jackson, Finnegan, Jones, Carr

The first player they should call? Vincent Jackson. The first player they will call? Jason Jones.

And I got this weird feeling we're going to be one of the top suitors for Colston. Just a gut feeling. We've heard next to nothing about his possible destinations this off season...it's been V-Jax this, V-Jax that. I think Colston fits perfectly into what Schottenheimer likes to do on offense.

Carl Nicks is the best free agent O-lineman this season. He's an All-Pro protector, and that is exactly what this team needs.
