Re: Who do you want at #2?

WOW! I am truly suprised right now. not suprised at the votes but suprised there has been no contraversy thus far. For weeks now there has been numerous posts about these players and much debates going on, and the reason this is suprising is because no one is arguing or debating or justifying or anything of the such, everyone is just voting who they want and nothing else. Clearing the air simply. This is a new one in the ClanRam. Well from what ive seen it is at least.

When the life bleeds out of me it will bleed blue and gold, the colors of true greatness!!

Re: Who do you want at #2?

I've thought long and hard on this and I've finally decided that the Rams need to go with Jake Long. We aren't the Ravens, or any other defensive stalwart of a team. We're the Rams, GSOT and all that stuff. We're offense. Spoon can handle the pass rush but we need another star on the O line. Jake Long is it.

If you want to win this year, take Jake.

Re: Who do you want at #2?

Dorsey. He's one of a kind and the next Warren Sapp. I doubt that we'll ever find a DT like that for years to come. Better to grab him now and start him. There's some good DEs in draft that we can pick up in later rounds. I'm really hoping that we trade the #2 overall pick and get an extra pick in 2nd round then draft Gholston.

That would be me, I did not want the guy to get shut out. Last time we did this poll C. Long was a hugh winner, not much has changed.

Re: Who do you want at #2?

I'm still very undecided. Jake Long would make our O-Line's one of the best in the league, especially since we now have Bell in at the guard position. Ultimately, J.Long can be replacement for Pace at left tackle.

C. Long is also a great pick. He's a solid run-stopper, can pass-rush and ahs a great motor. Gholston has a huge upside in his pash-rushing abiltites, although his weakness in stopping the run goes against him. I'm still unsure about Dorsey.

We'll see. Jake Long is who I want...for now.

Re: Who do you want at #2?

I think it would now be interesting to have a poll as to who people want if Chris Long is taken by Miami - that's where it becomes more controversial.

Re: Who do you want at #2?

.
I actually didn't start reading more on the prospects and watching some Vids until late this year. Having done so, I feel better about our pick at this point.

I think Chris Long should be our pick, but then I'm afraid that's the way Parcells is going too.

Jake Long will probably be a Pro-Bowl Right Tackle. He is a Player. I will be happy with Jake Long as our pick.

If any position makes players old before their time, it's Nose Tackle. They get whipped from different angles and don't see it coming half the time. Dorsey already has had some injuries before he even gets started. However, he has a great heart and can play too! I don't see the Rams taking Dorsey at number 2 though.

Gholston is intriguing, I must admit. Usually good teams can afford to gamble with their number 1 pick and the struggling teams can not.

Well, according to Jim Thomas it's either Chris or Jake.
