Who gets #1 pick if the Rams, Bucs, and Browns all end the season with most losses?
Who gets the #1 pick if all three teams end up 1-15 or 2-14? I read on wikipedia that it's determined by strength of schedule, in which case the Rams would probably get the #1 pick. Is this correct?

incorrect since the Rams have the toughest schedule they move down not up. So we are currently picking 3rd I believe.
On a Random note as long as we are picking behind Tampa or not picking first for that matter The Ndominator will not be in gold and blue.

Hmm, I'm really hoping we can get Suh...
It'll certainly make things interesting for us. I'd be very tempted to trade up...Last edited by Varg6; -12-06-2009 at 09:25 PM.

Browns won today, so you can throw them out of the mix.

I hope Tampa wins one more. We need Suh on this team.
Until Shurmur leaves, I don't want any offensive first rounders, because as of now, they will be a huge waste unless you are Steven Jackson.
I understand you want to build the team around SJax, but we did everything around SJax today. Rather predictable.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Devaney, if you care about this team... fire the offensive coordinator!!!!

You're right on the money 39:
Remaining ties are broken by strength of schedule. For draft order, a lower strength of schedule results in an earlier pick.

If two teams are tied, the team whose opposition has the lower win-loss percentage picks first. Which probably makes sense, because teams who go 1-15 against poorer competition should pick before teams who go 1-15 over (slightly) stronger competition.
Going into this weekend's games, the 1-10 Browns were on track to pick before the 1-10 Rams, as the Browns' opponents have a win percentage of .534 while the Rams' opponents were at .545.
The two could have flipped if the Cardinals had lost to the Vikings tonight and the Ravens beat the Packers tomorrow (haven't done the math, going by what Great Blue North draft report is implying). But the Cardinals won, which will strengthen the Rams' opponents' percentage.
If the order stays as it is and the Rams pick second behind Cleveland, then the question becomes whether or not the Browns want to add a player like Suh to be their Richard Seymour-type player on the D-line? They've got Shaun Rogers on the nose but could use an upgrade next to him at DE.
Suh becomes even more intriguing to them if Brady Quinn continues to look solid for the remainder of the year, as he's two especially good games statistically in the last three weeks (vs. Detroit, vs. San Diego). Plus, if Mangini is on the hot seat in Cleveland, the Browns may not want him to draft a quarterback as "his guy" for fear that he won't mesh with the next coach.

Maybe we are going to be the number #1 team for the draft pick.
Browns D and special teams winning one for them....8 sacks....impressive. That may be the way we have to get a win also.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
