Why do people want Upshaw? Do we not have Long and Quinn? I really don't understand taking another DE when we have so many other needs.
I picked Randle but I would be happy with either him or Hill. I just think randle will be a little more consistent and is more ready to play. Although it's just hard to tell with how under utilized Hill was.
I voted for Sanu. Im more sold on Sanu than Randle, and in fact Im more sold on Jefferies than Randle as well.
Whatever #33 is-- its got to the best possible WR on that board. Too many teams pick ahead of us before our next picks IMO to take something other than a WR.
I like the physical tools that Hill offers, but Im not patient enough have this guy develop into a legit WR.
Im hoping Jeffries slides to further down- possible to rd 3 (we still have a rd 3 right?) and thats where we can take another WR.

I really like Alshon Jeffery here. Same as Rueben Randle. I wouldn't mind Stephen Hill either. Lavonte David, Janoris Jenkins, and Cordy Glenn would be nice too.
I voted Hill. Be just about as happy with Randle. I have no problem with Jeffrey with either 39 or 45.
Even though he's a gamble, I think Janoris Jenkins would make many forget about Claiborne.
I opted for Randle as the best intersection of need (WR), fit (a receiver who excelled in a run-first team would seem to fit into Fisher's plans), and talent. Overall, lots of good options available, though. I'd also be happy with Upshaw or one of the offensive linemen.
why are you not sold on Randle? He's big, fast and has probably the best hands of any receiver in the draft. I don't see what's not to like.Quote:

Yeah I know, /eyeroll another TE in the 2nd round but I believe this guy has Jimmy Graham potential and with Fleener and Kendricks side by side, we'll create many mismatch opportunities on offense. Even then, I still think we'll find our receiver at #39 or #45 but I would play it safe with Lavonte David at #39 and take a look at Jeffery at #45. While Randle and Sanu have solid talent, Jeffery has a higher ceiling and I think Fisher's the guy who could motivate him to his maximum potential.
Sure, why bother with having regular receivers when you can run a five tight end spread. It worked for Linehan, right?
