If Laurinaitis is there, he's the pick regardless of what happens in Round 1. I don't care if we trade Steven Jackson for the ghost of Dick Butkus during round 1.........if available, Laurinaitis has to be #35.
I agree with you Hub. Laurinanitis falls that far then he needs to be our guy at 35. This will be a huge bargain and he would plug a big hole in the middle. If we take curry in the first then Curry can play outside and James inside.... wow would our LB's every look sick and completely different then anything I've seen with the team if this happens with WW playing weakside.
yep id draft J.Lau even if we drafted Curry (which i hope we do) in the 1st.
i have thought about that since it started to look like J.Lau may fall..it seems more likely than not likely if the majority of mock drafts are anything to go by...which is of course debatable in itself.
ah didnt notice Clay Matthews on the list...i dont think he`ll be there anymore, but presuming he is..having him play outside and Curry inside would be sweet!
either one of those two options id be cool with but if we dont go Curry in the 1st then J.Lau gets my vote so i`ll vote him.
Count me in on the Laurinaitis bandwagon. At #35, he'd be a steal IMO and would not only add the skill set to make the defense better, but all the intangibles too. Definitely a guy to help turn a team around.
What no mention of Benny Kritt from Rutgers on this list?!? I'll bet 'ol Richtree is pitching a hissy fit over this snub.:D:eek:
Kenny Brith with ease!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But it seems that NFL scouts agree with me more than the general public.
I talked to Kenny today and he says there is a good shot he will go between pick 18 and 28.
He was also interviewed for NFL's website and it was just added today but I can't get the video to play here at work.
I probably can't post the link either ( I don't think links are allowed in this forum).
You guys can find it if you want on NFL's website
IF Britt slips we should def. take him
Actually, I have Britt going in Round 1, which is why he's not on the list. I think he will be the fifth WR taken (after Crabtree, Maclin, Harvin and Heyward-Bey).
If Lauranitis is there, we have to get him. However, I really don't see him slipping that far... =/
Who do I want in Round 2? A starter. I don't care where.
Well I'm hoping for Evander "ZIGGY" Hood.:D
Someone always striving to get better.
The Rams need better D-Line play. I feel fixing the D-line is more important. LB's are the second line of defence even in a passing league.
I would be happy with MLB Jasper Brinkley in the 3rd.
I went with the trenches pick.....Ron Brace
Have to go with Laurantis, if he is available at 35 he is the BPA and fills a huge need. That is a no brainer.
Keny Britt is a Diva WR and his hands aren't that great. If Laurantis isn't there and a guy like Hakeem Nicks is there you can't pass up on him because he is a perfect compliment to Avery and would add another threat to open things up for S-Jax.
It would have to be Lauranitis if he falls that far, but I am really hoping for Beatty to drop that far. He is a beast and will be a great OT, just ask Donald Brown who would be a nobody without him. Either way, if we draft curry and get lauranitis we instantly have great linebackers, and if we get beatty we solve the line problem and the linebacker problems with instant starters.
Laurinitis could be a godsend for us, considering we really need a starting middle linebacker, and if he's not there, there's a pretty steep drop in talent at the position. If he isn't, I'd go for one of the defensive tackles. Not sure which one because I kind of think Hood might be the better player, but Brace might fit our need a little better.
