Thread: Who's your pick for Round 2?

Re: Who's your pick for Round 2?
i went with Brian Price..in the hope that we could work out a 4th rounder (and perhaps a pick next year) for Osi U. otherwise it would have been Griffin.
i`m really hoping for a trade down to a spot where we could still pick up one of the top 3 on my board tho..
1.Everson Griffin
2.Brian Price
3.Damian Williams
i prefer 2,3, then 1 as players but 1 is at a position of more dire need IMO..but if we can get Osi..then Griffin would be lower than both...i believe we got a good chance of getting Osi now after the JPP pick the Giants made.Last edited by Ramblin` Ram; -04-23-2010 at 01:45 AM.

Re: Who's your pick for Round 2?
I was forced to pick griffen, but I'd rather trade down a few spots.
My 3 guys are
1. Damian Williams, WR, USC- Looks like a Reggie Wayne clone and he is ready to go right now
2. Rob Gronkowski, TE, Arizona- Jason Witten Clone
3. Arrelious Benn, WR, Illinois- Aquan Boldin clone

Re: Who's your pick for Round 2?
My first reaction says Kindle, but the idea of trying to convert him to an OLB scares me. I still think we should go defense and Carlos Dunlap or Everson Griffin would be good choices at DE to replace Little next year.
Sadly we have so many needs that any of those 10 would find a place here. Some team has to be drooling over the thought of getting Clausen and would be willing to trade up to get him. As long as we can stay in the top third of round two, I say we trade down to whoever will give us the best deal and take the BPA when our pick comes.

Re: Who's your pick for Round 2?
Id be open to having someone make a move up for Clausen

However, if i had to choose from the ten, id pick one of the DL players, probably one of Kindle, Griffin or Price. I think DE is a spot we could use some help at and where the best value is at this point.

Re: Who's your pick for Round 2?
We gotta trade back. Clev and Buf want Clausen and Min sitting there thinking they are going to get thier guy (which ever one they covet). If we can trade back, it looks like the best scenario. We got pigeon holed into taking a qb at one...let get versitile here. Kindle is the BPA but with character issues, and we arent looking at either qb. Used that to field offers.

Re: Who's your pick for Round 2?
Price. I was extremely pissed when we drafted Bradford. Sure our offense stunk, but so did our rush defense. We need a DT who can play ball and will contribute for years to come. Price is the answer.
I swear if we get Tate, I'm going to crap myself. We need EXPERIENCED receivers. No more kids[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Devaney, if you care about this team... fire the offensive coordinator!!!!

Terrence Cody, Everson Griffin, or Taylor Mays?

Sergio, after passing on the BPA in the 1st round, lets not do it again.

Re: Who's your pick for Round 2?
Step one: trade back.
Step two: let the draft fall to us.
Right now I really want Kindle because he reminds me of the Kiwanuka pick by the Giants a few years ago where he played as an OLB until they had a need at DE and he switched into Osi's spot. So, I'd say take him now as a SAM, trade for Osi to fill the LE spot, and when we need a pass rush, he can move down onto the line and maybe we kick Long inside. He's a pass rusher that we need, versatile, and hopefully will be there a few steps down after we trade down.
If he's not there, I'd be happy with a deep trade back for one of the DT's Price or Cody.I believe!

Damian Williams.

Re: Who's your pick for Round 2?
I wouldn't take Williams at #33, but if the rams trade back a few spots, he'd definitely be on my radar.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Who's your pick for Round 2?
Is there anyone here that the Rams would absolutely love to have? I don't think so, the Rams have to be looking to trade this pick and get another 3rd or 4th round pick.

Re: Who's your pick for Round 2?
Another interesting pick could be Ducasse, he could be the future RT and contribute immediately at G. Not a "sexy pick" but we need to protect Bradford. He is a big OL like Spagnuolo wants.
Smith Bell Brown Ducasse Barron could be a good OLSi vous croyez en vous, que vous avez de la fierté, et que vous ne lâchez jamais, vous serez un gagnant.

Re: Who's your pick for Round 2?
I would go with Tate. Sergio I hear has a injury red flag.
