Are you gonna cut an experienced player or are you gonna cut a low round draft pick that you are developing? I remember reading several articles were they had to put low round draft picks on waivers to sign yet another CB.

Sometimes draft picks aren't "picks don't turn out", but the team is forced to cut players due to injuries that are not IR or Injury Settlement types.

I didn't hear not 1 rookie put aside until they couldn't anymore and were forced to cut him for a vet..

Jabara Williams > Poppinga, Leber, Chamberlain
Jermale Hines > Craig Dahl, James Butler(WTF? Spags had a man crush on this guy for no reason)
Mikail Baker > Rod Hood, Brian Jackson, Nate Ness, Kendric Burney, Chris Smith
    Jonathon Nelson > James Butler

Exactly. It had absolutely nothing to do with being "forced" to cut a rookie to make room for a new veteran, and everything to do with Spags and Devaney simply doing everything they could to keep there jobs, even if that meant exiling nearly the entirely 2011 draft class.
