willing to trade future draft picks?
if you were in the Rams FO right now, would you trade future draft picks to go and get a player you like? For example the Rams could trade future picks to move up and grab Hawk, or could get a completely new 1st rounder altogether.
Would you be willing to do that?

Re: willing to trade future draft picks?
I sure would, I really wanna see Huff in the horns, I really do, if not him, Davis for sure, a TE would be great, and especially if Manu isn't gonna be participating at the workouts, sheeeesh

Re: willing to trade future draft picks?
If we're going to compennsate future Rams, to get a player 14 days away from being a Ram, in my mind it has to be either AJ Hawk or Michael Huff. If VD slips, then grab him at 11.

Re: willing to trade future draft picks?
The Rams have NEVER traded up in the draft. Maybe, just maybe, Linehan can convince them to do so for either Davis or Huff. It would be worth next year's first round.

Um, they did to get Pace and Jackson. Pretty sure they traded up to get Jerome Collins as well.

Re: willing to trade future draft picks?
i would to get hawk or huff as i think we would more than likely get into the playoffs and next years draft have low picks!
it is of course a gamble as if it all went pear shaped e.g bulger, holt, pace, spoon, little, hawk or huff get put on injured reserve early on then we would lose high picks next year but i say its a gamble worth taking!

Re: willing to trade future draft picks?
Is hawk or huff the type of talent that comes along once in a blue moon? I dunno...
If the general concensus is yes, they are the rare type of talent you can build your defense around, then I'm all for it. But, again is this the case?

There are many that think so.

As for Hawk, the guy is in the same boat in that he can essentially play every linebacker position. He's widely considered a top five pick, which isn't easy for a linebacker if you look through draft history, because linebackers are rarely chosen in the top five if not top ten.

Re: willing to trade future draft picks?
What are the values for future picks? I would love to see the Rams trade up to get Hawk but also have another first rounder. Maybe we could fashion a trade with the Jets and get their two firsts for our first and some picks.
