    Would you consider this trade?

If Clowney is gone and the market is soft would you consider moving back one spot with the Jags for the rights to Justin Blackmon?

There is a good chance he does not play this year which could be a good thing. He could turn his life around like Cris Carter. Jags might offer him up to secure the player they want. The Rams could then move back with Atalanta for less but still get another pick.

Blackmon's play has been top notch for a rookie and second year player I would love to add him. I know there is a ton of down side but what are we talking about money? He had to sign a contract that was laced with protection for the Jags and rightly so.

IF he could turn it around he would be the player that could be the last piece to win the west IMO. A true number one!

While I get your thinking on this, my answer would be no. I'd rather have a draft pick that can be used on a player who will help the Rams this year than a player who may never get his act together.

Hell no! I'd rather take Sammy Watkins at #2, a guy that's clean at number 2. Ayyy, Just cause the administration has eased the penalty on smoking crack doesn't mean it ok to do it. SMH

I guess it would depend on what the Rams plan on doing with the #2, and what the Jags plan to do (I assume Watkins) with the #2.

If the Rams plan on using the #2 on Robinson, Matthews, Mack, Evans, etc., then the move to #3 is no big deal. And if the Rams see no difference at all between those same picks then going back to #6 is no big deal.

I'd pull the trigger. Even if there wasn't a second trade down to the Falcons, it still seems low-risk enough to be worthy

I love Blackmon's game, but as you said, plenty of baggage, and a pattern of destructive behavior that shows no signs of going away. No thanks.

Would you trade the #13 pick for RG3?

For someone who really wanted to draft him I don't want anything to do with the guy. He had issues coming out that I thought could be taken care of, but he has not learned how to grow up and be responsible. It would kill us to have a good string going on with him and he slip up to get suspended and nothing we could do. Worse than an injury imo.

That is true but you could say that about JJ, Tree, any of the risky picks we have made over the years.

I would not put him on the field if he did not get some serious help and that's what he's has to do just to get reinstated.

I agree the real risk would be only after he cleaned up and sign a new contract after playing well.

I would say yes!!! You get the rights to Blackmon who can perform when on field. Your moving 1 spot back for a chance at big talent. Hell ya

Sure. If Clowney goes first, then two of my top three choices for the Rams (Matthews, Robinson, Watkins) will still be there at 3. You could still get a great talent, and add Blackmon whom Fisher wanted and might be able to help get his head on straight.
