    Would you do this?

What if the Browns are in love with a QB and he is still there at nr 13.

What if they offer us nr 26 (first round) and nr 35 (second round) and nr 71 (third round). Would you do it?

With such a deep draft still having a pick in the first round, an extra second round and a third round would be nice.... What do you think?

    Re: Would you do this?

Improbable scenario, though I'd tell you that I'd take it instantly.

Firstly, if they have a QB rated as highly as 13, they'd very likely trade down from the "elite" category and pick him up somewhere in the 6-10 range.

Secondly, if they were "in love" with one, they'd likely take him at 4, and save the other three picks.

Lastly, they've brought in every QB out there. Without anyone truly elite this year at the position, they'd likely make some compromise with one they could get closer to their own pick and beef up the guys around him elsewhere.

Put me down for them grabbing Watkins at 4 and Garappolo at 26.
    I believe!

I would take that if certain players were off by then. If Donald and all the CBs are still on the board it would be hard to not take one of those guys, but if one or two are gone that would be a great deal. Going down that far might still get a guy like Fuller and some serious cool options in the 2nd and 3rd.

    Trade Value Chart says: #13 = 1,150
All the other picks = 1,485

No, there are just too many bodies being drafted to make the team.

Build in some other Ram trade ups and maybe.

We definately would be trading back into some other low rounds and I think that could happen and should happen even if we stand pat till the 3rd for 4th rounds. We have 12 pics that is too many to start with so I fully expect us to be typically busy trading. This regime' has set a standard of being active thus far and expressed interests to continue in that vain... So that all being said in a long winded way, yes I would take that deal and as was pointed out twas a bit of an over payment. That is the kind I love! LOL

    Re: Would you do this?

So if the Rams used those 3 picks to get:
drafted Morgan Moses or Kouandjio to play LT in 2015 and beyond,
and then drafted Weston Richburg to play C in 2015 and beyond,
and then drafted David Yankey in the 3rd to play LG

    That's too many people?

    At #2 - Mack
    #38 - Jason Verrett
    #75 = Ed Reynolds

    Imagine the horror.

    Re: Would you do this?

I do not think it to be absolutely Improbable if a QB that the browns like is still there at nr 13 (and off course that they do not take a QB with the nr 4 which I am not that sure of).

What about a variation then. We swap 2 and 4 with browns and on top the above deal? I guess that would even out the difference in pick value some or?

In that case we would still get one for the top 5 guys (probably a LT or Watkins) and we would have a lot of nice possibilities to either draft more depth or move up in round two for somebody that we really like. Last year we got Ogletree late in the first round, maybe Fisher has something like that up his sleeve again

(Damn still so much time to the draft....)

Sounds good to me, except that I would rather have Watkins than Mack... I am a little afraid that Mack could become the next Curry.... I still remember how high I was on Curry and how sad I was that the Rams did not get him. But we all know how big a bust he was...

I really want to provide good feedback and be a part of this topic, but I just can't get over the fact that you abbreviated number, a 6 letter word, with "nr". It just really bugs me.

Sorry about that. I am from Denmark and nr is a danish abbreviation. Did not think about it not being the same in English. Sorry that this has been hurting your eyes

In danish number is nummer. Normally if you would make a short version of a word in danish you would take the first two letters. But nu means now so I guess that is why it became nr....

Sometimes when I write in English my brain just forgets this kind of stuff

What if I had written no. would that have been correct english or must I always write number? And where the heck is the o in No. coming from
