Re: Would you draft Te'o????
First... please don't refer to Matt Miller of Bleacher Report as an "expert." He's an idiot. By way of example, last year he claimed that the Rams had no interest in Justin Blackmon which, as we know (based upon the War Room article) was not the case at all (he was apparently the No. 2 guy on the Rams' draft board).
Now... to answer you question...
I'm not ready to to blacklist the guy yet, but there is a lot of due diligence that would need to be completed before I'd be comfortable taking him.
Re: Would you draft Te'o????
I will answers it this way if Fisher and Les took him I would be fine with it. They would have asked all the hard questions and got the answer they felt comfortable with.
I think if you asked last year would you take Jenkins many fans without having access to the person would struggle to say yes. The same thing IMO could be said in this case.
Re: Would you draft Te'o????
I do not see him slipping that far at all, but if it did I would love to see him as a Ram.
When this all clears, I think he will be a solid ILB and high character leader for years to come.
Re: Would you draft Te'o????
I don't think I'd draft him because of the lack of need more than anything. It's not like the guy knocked over a liquor store. However, if I were the GM of another team I'd be more concerned with his performance against elite offenses in college. I'd have to pull all his tape and see if he is what we thought he was before I crowned him.
Re: Would you draft Te'o????
I dont think the #3 LB is as important as before, so I'd say no. I don't think he's going to be treated like a convict (unless he continues to lie to teams' faces). Someone will take a chance on the guy, and they'll probably be pleased.
I'd rather have Gerald Hodges a round later, or even get the position solved in FA with a decent player. I guess we'll see.

I used quotations for a reason. I wasnt saying he was an expert, just that some have deemed him one.
And this is about at this moment. i know more facts will come out and the truth will surfae, but at this moment, would you take him if he was available when we pick in the 2nd round?
Re: Would you draft Te'o????
If we hadnt draft LB help and he was available in round 2 i probable would take a chance on him..maybe...Mailny cause of what DE_ramfan stated, is he that big of a need right now?
Re: Would you draft Te'o????
From a purely football standpoint, he's a first rounder. Beyond that, I'm having a hard time making up my mind.
Re: Would you draft Te'o????
Right now, I would want him at 22.
Re: Would you draft Te'o????
no, and not because of what has just been uncovered
he completely disappeared against alabama, now, i don't want to say it's because of one game
but notre dame got exposed really...everyone wasn't as good, go figure, as they were pumped up to be, played mostly cupcakes, stole some wins...
i just don't think te'o is as advertised, not even close
Re: Would you draft Te'o????
plus, if i wanted a linebacker, i'd take shane skov or something
Re: Would you draft Te'o????
At least if he's that gullible, he'd be easy for Fisher to motivate.
"Teo.......your other imaginary girlfriend just pass away. This game's for her!" .....heard once a week.
Picking him would have to be based on the board and he'd have to be thoroughly vetted. He's a talent, but is he the right pick at the time the Rams pick though.
Re: Would you draft Te'o????
Whatever Te'o was smoking to think he had a girlfriend, pass that Janoris' way!
