Would you be in favor of dropping out of top 10 for this?
Denver
2009 (Draft Choices)
1-2 (Stafford/Sanchez) (Get from STL)
1-12 (Trade to STL)
1-18 (was Chi)
2-48 (Trade to STL)
3-79
3-84 (was Chi) (Trade to STL)
4-114
Denver
2010 (2 first round picks)
1st Round Pick (was Chi)
Rams
1-2 (trade to Denver)
1-12 (Get from Denver)
2-35
2-48 (Get from Denver)
3-66
3-84 (was Chi) (Get from Denver)
4-103
Denver loses Cutler, gets Stafford and Orton, and drops from 12 to 18 and gives up a mid second for a first rounder next year. The Rams drop 10 spots but get an extra second rounder and an extra third rounder.
My Draft:
1-12 Michael Oher OT 6’5 310
2-35 Kenny Britt WR 6’3 218 4.47 40
2-48 Ron Brace NT 6'3 325
3-66 Tyrone McKenzie SLB/MLB 6'2 243
3-84 Jasper Brinkley MLB 6'2 255
4 Domonique Johnson CB 6'2 200 4.4 40
5 Tom Brandstater QB 6’5 220
6 Sammie Lee Hill DT 6'4 330
7 Phillip Hunt DE 6'1 260 4.6 40 (52 games, 53.5 tackles for loss, 34.5 sacks)
Other guys that might be there in the first:
(Others: Cushing LB, Raji NT, Maualuga MLB, Harvin WR, Heward-Bey WR)
Regardless if you like my draft picks would you want to trade our first to drop down 10 picks and get a second and third? I know its not likely to haapen just seeing who would be interested.Last edited by RamsSB99; -04-03-2009 at 12:47 AM.

The 2nd overall pick is valued at 2,600 points. #12 and #18 together are 2,100. That means Denver would have to throw in at least a 3rd as well to make the values closely match. What you're suggesting has us getting severely ripped off. We are not receiving anywhere close to the compensation we deserve. Now, if what I said above was proposed, I would take it and run. But yours? Nope.

id trade out of the no.2 overall spot to get both their first rounders and a later pick, but not for the compensation suggested

Give up the #2 for the #'s 12, 48, & 84? No.
They would have to throw in their #18 or at best throw in their 18 and take back their 84."Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

Denver won't do it. They don't want that high of a draft pick. Plus, rumor has it McDaniel really likes Orton so I don't see Denver going QB at all this year. Straight defense, at least early.
