Would you make the following trade if its the only trade option?
Would you trade Cleveland our 1st and 2nd for their two 1st rounders if that is the only trade option?
Rams would then have:
#4 - Blackmon or Kalil
#22
Cleveland would have:
#2 - RG3
#33
I would do this deal because Kalil and Blackmon are even prospects and we would move up 11 spots with our next pick that could land us a better OL or WR depending on what we did with the 1st pick. If the value is not there we could trade back down some and get an extra second or third. I really want Blackmon but still would be happy with Kalil and would be able to move a 1/3 of the way up from our second round pick.

To answer your question, yes, I'd make that trade. However, Cleveland knows both the Rams and the Vikings have no interest in drafting a qb, so if nobody else is willing to make a trade for our #2, I'd imagine Cleveland wouldn't either, seeing as they're sitting pretty at #4.

if it is truly the ONLY trade option yes i would take it but i would not be happy
i move back 2 picks but move up 11...and even though i move back 2 picks i am guaranteed premier starter

It depends.
If the Rams are confident that the player they want (whether it be Blackmon or Kalil) will NOT be taken by the Vikings, then its essentially a free move from 33 to 22.
If, on the other hand, the Rams have a strong preference that might be shared by Minnesota, then the answer would be "no."

To answer your question narrowly, yes I would.
But if that's the best value we can get from the #2 pick, we're terrible negotiators.

To answer the question in its form......yes, absolutely. But that is assuming the Rams equate Kalil and Blackmon in value.
However, if that truly is the only option, AND the Browns are aware that's the only option, then they take the offer from the table.

No....
Having the 1st pick in day 2 it may sound strange I believe will have more value than the other 1st round pick. I believe the Rams will have several teams looking to trade up on day 2.....

I tried to just see if it was available would you do it. I didn't care about how it got to that point. Of course the Rams would bluff about other teams interest. Cleveland may not be as eager as some people think they are about trading up. They are the best trade partner for the Rams and we would see some drop off on need and talent if we went below their pick.

The answer is NO I'm betting we can get the browns to give us their 4th and 22nd for our 2... without using our second rd pick.
