Re: Would you trade 1st pick to Browns?
I don't know that I could pull the trigger there. Maybe if it was 1,2,3 and a 2nd next year? The Browns have a TON of picks and if I'm in the FO I'd hold that against them. The problem then becomes who to take at 7th? Stretch for a DE? Take Claussen? I guess I can't see the Rams going with a OL or DB that high in the 1st.

HELL YEA !! Draft clausen with 7th pick and then we would have 2#2, if browns give us their # 2.

Re: Would you trade 1st pick to Browns?
Sooner or later you guys are gonna have to face reality. Bradford isn't the best player in this draft. Suh has been talked about as being the best player to enter the draft in decades. We just can't take him. We have to put a new face on this franchise and Bradford looks to be it. Not Clausen or whoever comes at pick #7. It's just something that has to be done.

Re: Would you trade 1st pick to Browns?
I agree. This years draft is so deep because a lot of players have declared now to avoid what could be a messy year, next year. Even if there isn't a strike, or lockout, there is great potential for some sort of rookie salary cap. Most years this would be a no-brainer. I'm just not sure that holds true for this situation.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!

Not a bad idea, not sure if I would accept it or not. At this point speculation like this is pointless, though.

Re: Would you trade 1st pick to Browns?
All depends on what they offer, if we can get the whole farm then I say pull the trigger, and draft Clausen at #7

Re: Would you trade 1st pick to Browns?
I'm calling the trade as a 7, 38, 71 and 2011 first for our 1 and 65.
So we loose 7 spots in the first and 6 spots in the third and gain a second rounder and a 2011 first rounder.
I think the pipe dream of getting 7, 38, 71 and 2011 first is just that... a pipe dream. It's way to much.

Re: Would you trade 1st pick to Browns?
If they'll turn over their 2010 and 2011 first round picks, I'm all for it. A Browns first rounder is about as close as you can get to a guaranteed top ten pick.

Suh is now not even considered the best at his position.....
