Re: Would you want any of these free agents?
Michael Bush RB- Yes, I believe he's got a ton of talent and could be an amazing back-up/spot starter is S-Jax got injured.
Cadillac Williams RB- Nope, to injury riddled.
Vincent Jackson WR- Yes, we need a big play guy and he is exactly that.
Owens Daniels TE- Between Illinois Mike and Fells, I think there is better use of F/A dollars.
Tyson Clabo RT- Again, better use of F/A dollars.
Charles Johnson DE-Maybe, depending on needs going into the draft.
Cliff Avril DE- Maybe, depending on needs going into the draft.
Chad Greenway LB- Yes. One of the most under rated LB's in the league. Does he put up numbers because of the beastly line in front of him?
James Anderson LB- Seems like a flash in the pan. Racks up tackles because of a weak defense.
Stephen Nicholas LB- Nah.
Champ Bailey DB- I think he'll be to old and expensive for this team.
Eric Weddle S- Play making safety, but he plays FS and we need a SS.

Re: Would you want any of these free agents?
I agree except I do believe Owens would be worth the $.
My top 4 on this list is:
1. Bush
2. Greenway
3. Daniels
4. Jackson if we can get him with out selling the farm.

Re: Would you want any of these free agents?
Michael Bush- No, he is a good runner but we have Jackson and the bush is horrible at picking up blitz when he stays into block and he is not good at running screens.
Cadillac Williams RB-YES, this would be a good back to s-jax. Cadilac is the type of runningback that is smooth on his cuts and has good vision and patient all qualities that Jackson has which makes him successful with this offensive line. Also Williams can run some good screens and does an average job of blocking in pass protection.
Vincent Jackson WR- DEFINITE YES, He would be a great go-to target for Bradford on third down. Veteran receiver that can run clean routes. And does something that none of receivers really did thats get separation. He would be a better fit than Julio Jones or Justin Blackmon right now.
Owens Daniels TE- Yes, i doubt he will become a free agent but if we can get a trade done it would be huge. Daniels is reliable TE that can really catch the ball. He is a deep middle threat that will give a Safety problems. Think about him with Avery or clayton on the outside the safety needs to decide who to cover.
Tyson Clabo RT- NO we can easily draft depth at OT.
Charles Johnson DE- No, Spags will groom his own DE either he drafts them or gets an ex-giant
Cliff Avril DE- No same as above.
Chad Greenway LB- No the vikings are going to offer him more money then we can afford
James Anderson LB- Yes he has ties with our D-coordinator fajole but i doubt carolina lets him walk
Stephen Nicholas LB- No too undersized for Spags D
Champ Bailey DB- No if we need a veteran safety we can just re-sign Dockery
Eric Weddle S- NO i doubt he is coming out and if he does he will command money that we should not spend on a safety.

Re: Would you want any of these free agents?
To answer your question:
No. This is one need that is better addressed in the draft, given the short shelf life of RBs.
Maybe. He is talented, but I'm not thrilled with a guy who would choose to sit out half the season. I'm more interested in his teammate, Malcom Floyd.Vincent Jackson WR
No. I like Michael Hoomanawanui's potential.Owens Daniels TE
Absolutely not. We're set at OT.Tyson Clabo RT
I wouldn't pay big money for either.Charles Johnson DE
Cliff Avril DE
He could be a good fit. It will be interesting to see what the market is for his services.Chad Greenway LB
Now you're talking. He would be a very big upgrade at WLB.James Anderson LB
Not as high on him.Stephen Nicholas LB
No. He's too old to pay what he'll likely be seeking.Champ Bailey DB
No. Too undersized to pair with Atogwe. We need a big, athletic SS, in my opinion.Eric Weddle S
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Would you want any of these free agents?
I want Kiwi! I think with the Giants plethora of lineman, they will let him go. Spags has the obvious connection, so I think we have a realistic shot of obtaining his services if the Giants do indeed decide to pass.

Re: Would you want any of these free agents?
Michael Bush RB - yes but still need to draft a speedster
Cadillac Williams RB - no
Vincent Jackson WR - YES as he should be the teams #1 priority: ever notice that whenever an amazing talent becomes available at WR, some people always shoot them down?
Owens Daniels TE - no
Tyson Clabo RT - no
Charles Johnson DE - yes but he's not leaving Carolina
Cliff Avril DE - YES but he's not leaving Detroit
Chad Greenway LB - Yes but he's not leaving the Vikings
James Anderson LB - Yes
Stephen Nicholas LB - Not overly interested
Champ Bailey DB - no
Eric Weddle S - no

Re: Would you want any of these free agents?
Of that list I would only want Greenway and Anderson.
Of the free agent receivers I like Sidney Rice the most, but different websites list him as either a UFA or an RFA. Is this something that can't be decided until the new CBA?
There's a lot decent running back options. I would probably look to get a good third down veteran back, or keep Darby for his blocking skills, and then draft a young speedy back to spell Jack.
I like the Kiwi idea, it makes good sense and he would add a lot to the defense.
Also, does anyone know when free agency starts. Or has that not been decided yet with the CBA?

Re: Would you want any of these free agents?
i would be very interested in signing vincent jackson, greenway or anderson. we need help desperately and these are three talented guys that would immediately give us a huge boost. i would also take michael bush, he's shown he can be productive in a backup role already and think he has plenty left in him, but i like the idea of a backup running back who's more of a home run threat.

Re: Would you want any of these free agents?
Greenway and Adnerson seem like the most likely candidates to end up in the horns in my opinion. Speaking ultra-hypothetically, if Brad Childress were to become the offensive co-ordinator in St. Louis, we'd have an in with Greenway and with Sidney Rice.
