    Would you want the Rams to make a move on acquiring Asante Samuel?

    I think it would be another great move on an already great off-season. The Philly-STL connection is obvious, and I am hoping that Spags and co are at least exploring the opportunity to get one of the top tier corners in the NFL


    What do you think?

    What an offseason so far!


    Heres a thought: We havent officially cut Jacob Bell yet. The Eagles need some G help. What if we offer Phi a late round pick and Jacob Bell for Asante Samuel?

    No thanks, he's got a huge contract and we already have two very solid corners. I'd rather give the third slot to Murph, King or Harris.

    I think the Rams are high on Fletcher so I doubt we go this route.? We may pick up more help for the secondary but it will not be Samuel.? The bigger need is at DT at the moment.

    Samuel wouldn't fir in Spags scheme. Spags likes big, physical corners who can play man covrage, whereas Asante is smll an one of the poorest tacklers in the league, while excellng at zone coverage and off-man.

    The main reason Samuels has become expendable because the eagles have switched to a more physical press man scheme like the one we currently play, so he wouldn't be a great fit

    DRC is a physical, hard tackler?
    I thought he was more of a coverage, speedy type, INT machine player.

    Eagles' will want to much to even think about trading for him when we have one really good corner, another up and coming and just signed a wily vet for the nickel spot.

    No Point, I prefer Bartell over him at this point in time. And might as well build up the CB corps for later on, instead of signing him for future purposes

    I really doubt they're going to get rid of one of the finest zone corners in the league. And this is a real test for Asomugha to see if he can handle playing that kind of system since he best operates on one-on-one coverage. Don't be surprised if he makes crucial errors against us seeing that he needs to make a few adjustments.
