Yeremiah Bell, possible FA Safety?

Most of us would agree that Corey Chavous has been a massive disappointment and that there isn't a massive pool of talent around at SS in either the draft or free agency.

That is what makes Bell an interesting player IMO, he suffered an Achilles Tendon tear in the 1st game of '07 and went on to miss the rest of the season on IR. So he would be a gamble I suppose but the previous year he had a good season and seemed to be on an up-ward spirral. He may take a while to get back to full-speed but I would be confident he would be a pretty cheap up-grade at a position we sure could do will help at. He could be got at a good price because he is coming of a season where he suffered a serious injury. He is worth consideration IMO, what are the rest of the Clan's thoughts?..

What team was he on, and what was his stats? Also, what kind of scheme was he playing in that he was doing well? It might not work with ours.

he came from the Dolphins

im really not sure on him to be honest, simply because he was hardly a big thing before his injury, and a year of not playing might have really hindered his growth
