Are YOU a 2014 Rams Draft Whiz? Prove it!

    Welcome to...

Are YOU a 2014 Rams Draft Whiz? Prove it!

The draft is still a little under a month away and it can't get here soon enough. In addition to the other contests we have around this time of year, I've decided to do my own. The question...Are YOU a 2014 Rams Draft Whiz? If so, prove it! I will explain the rules and scoring below:

For this contest, you are asked to correctly predict the position and/or player for the Rams in each of the first six rounds. I have chosen to leave out the seventh round because the Rams have four picks total and by that point it really turns into a crap shoot. The Rams still have eight selections in the first six rounds so there is plenty of prognosticating to be done. Scoring is weighted differently for each round.

Round 1 - 1 point for correct position, 2 points for correct player
Round 2 - 2 points for correct position, 3 points for correct player
Round 3 - 3 points for correct position, 4 points for correct player and so on....

So for example, if I correctly predict the Rams will draft OT Jake Matthews with the second overall pick, I get three points total (1 for position and 2 for the player). But if they take OT Greg Robinson, I get 1 point only for picking the right position.

NOTE: You are allowed to predict trades happening at any one of our picks. However, I am setting a limit of only two trades allowed. That means you can not fill out your card with trades at each pick. You are only allowed to predict a trade happening twice, if you so choose. Trades are worth three points each. Reminder: Pick 214 in the sixth round can not be traded because it is a compensatory selection.

Please quote and post picks using this format:

    Round 1/Pick 2:
    Round 1/Pick 13:

    Round 2/Pick 44:

    Round 3/Pick 75:

    Round 4/Pick 110:

    Round 5/Pick 153:

    Round 6/Pick 188:
    Round 6/Pick 214:

TIEBREAKER: Where will Kony Ealy be selected? (The person closest to the actual pick without going over will be the winner. If everyone goes over, the person closest will win.)

The deadline for submissions will be on draft night, May 8th at 7:59 PM EST.

Sorry, just too many variables as far as who is there when the Rams pik, what positions they get early that affect later picks etc.

This is nothing more than a wild guess deal.

These are always fun especially to pull up at the end of the season. Looking at it right after the draft is not nearly as fun as the longer view from late season to me.

.....which makes it exactly like every mock draft, "analysis", or opinion offered by anyone on any NFL draft that has ever happened or will ever happened. So make your guess already.

    As for mine.....
    Round 1/Pick 2: TRADE
    Round 1/Pick 13: H-C-D, S, Alabama

Round 2/Pick 44: Jason Verrett, CB, TCU

Round 3/Pick 75: Dominique Easley, DT, Florida

Round 4/Pick 110: Billy Turner, OT, North Dakota St.

Round 5/Pick 153: David Fales, QB, San Jose St.

    Round 6/Pick 188: Trade
Round 6/Pick 214: Bryan Stork, C, Florida St.

TIEBREAKER: Ealy goes to the Cowboys at #16.

    Really?...I mean, really??

I should make it clear for those of you that have already posted, you can edit and change your picks any time before the deadline. If I see a post edited later than that, it will not count.

Hopefully we get a lot of participants!
