Its interesting to see how opinions about a player can change during the months leading up to the draft. Check out these quotes about Alex Barron:


January 18, 2005:

February 8, 2005:

Great job, AV. I'm telling ya, the Rams are hated by many. No matter what the Rams, Jets and Colts do in the draft, it will never be good to the biased experts.

Kipper is a motor mouth. Very agile and fast on his articulated words. :tough:

Now, when you consider that these type of sports/NFL "analysts" must have 'something to say' about a few hundred college seniors, well, their commentaries really get mixed into a soup of letters; much too rich to enjoy or even to figure out. But again, that's their job.

He's gotta look busy, you know.

Despite all the normal contradictions that come about at this stage for drafted rookies, Alex Barron seems to pass all the personal tests with a well deserved B.
