Just wondering what the average fan does on draft day.
I, for one, will pretty much watch the whole thing if I can. Its the one day of football in six months, after all.
I didnt vote.I'd love to watch ,but this time of year I dont get very many days off.The last time I saw a Rams pick was a few years ago when we drafted Archuleta.Just to much going on in the springtime to watch,so I guess I will track it on the web.
I'll try to catch at least the Rams picks and probably more off and on depending on what I'm doing. One can only take so much of Mel Kiper. :bored:
Good point Av! I particularly enjoy watching the first two rounds, as prior to the draft there is all the hype--smoke and mirrors stuff--and then when the clock is ticking for real, the shell games cease. I read in a thread a few days ago that the Rams have their eye on a couple of safties who are supposedly "sleepers". I wonder if that is "smoke" or for real.. I will refrain from saying anything sarcastic..Quote:

Abso-freakin'-lutely! I love the draft. There's a huge plot twist every 15 minutes! Nothing else on TV gives you that. And of course there's no other football anywhere to be found.Quote:
Are you a draft day fanatic?
I typically try to watch all the coverage for both days. Last year I had to catch the first 4-5 picks of the first round on the radio though, because I had out of town class obligations and was speeding home to see the coverage.
I had to work last year before the draft and fell asleep during the first round. I watched all I could from Days 1 and 2.
Fishing season is just underway, but I always pray for some heavy rain that weekend. Then I feel better from all my *****ing of how I waited 4 months to get out in some decent weather and now I'm choosing to be inside.
I'm predicting heavy rain in the Northeast that weekend. Not much of a prediction though, it's nice & sunny all week then rains on the weekend anyway.
Draft Day Junkie - Maineram
We now get the draft in the UK and it starts at 5pm and runs late so I usually watch the first 2 rounds the second day is recorded and shown late sunday or on monday so I record it and check the rams picks later.
I wouldn't miss it. I make sure I'm home for the start
I am usually just interested in who goes first (Hype check) and who the Rams get. Last year, my boy and I were out playing paintball. Thanks to the glory of XM, I got to hear when the Rams picked almost every pick on Saturday.
