For you guys who want to learn more bout players
Go and pickup the magazine "ESPN NFL Draft Guide 2006" it has 359 player reports. Its $7.99 but if you don't have a computer around you at work and want to learn more just grab it. I just did and its got alot of good information. Or for when your on the crapper or something. I'd advise it though!

Other than the Espn draft guide, does anyone know of any other good ones (any recommendations). I want to pick one up before the draft also.

Re: For you guys who want to learn more bout players
Just a quick word of advice.
Take all these draft publications and sources, including me, with a grain of salt. The nature of the beast is that you're essentially reading someone's opinion, especially when it comes to projections. I find that these magazines (I prefer ESPN, Street and Smith, and The Sporting News) are typically accurate with their assessment of a player's skills and abilities, but I find that I frequently disagree with where they have some guys projected.
A lot of sources see the same thing from a player, but then turn around and make differing comments. I read two sources today on Jon Alston, one that says he excels in coverage while another said he tends to get lost. Point of the story - don't take anyone else's opinion as gospel, including mine. If you're really interested, get as many sources as you can, or even better get some game tape of guys you're interested in, and make up your own mind.
Just another quick note, I believe most of these went to print prior to a lot of the pro day performances that have seen players rise and fall. Keep that in mind while browsing their rankings.

Re: For you guys who want to learn more bout players
Good advice. I think that everyone should look at several sources when they are researching the draft guys. I personally like to do my own internet searches on the players that interest me.
Nick is good and smart, but he is still human and subject to error. I am amazed at the amount of football knowledge that he spews on a regular basis. Perhaps Nick should be looking to get a job as a scout after he finishes college.
Does that every cross your mind Nick? Do you have a career path in mind?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Not much money in education. Don't you feel the need to use all this football information to make money?
What grades are you interested in teaching? 1-6?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

First.
And I'd love to find a way to use it, but I'm not sure the Rams are hiring.

You should call and inquire in something working for the Rams!

St Louis is pretty far from WVA.
It would be an interesting choice to have to make. Sometimes things are kept best as a hobby and not a job.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
