1.99 a gallon
WOOHOO! Just got gas at our local gas station for 1.99 a gallon. Saved 75 bucks on the truck, I wanted to haul the boat down, but it was madness there.
It was a Tower Mart store here in Cordelia. I asked the manager why, and he said it was just a show of good faith to the customers. To bad not every station will do something like this.
Cali is sick with strep, but still happy!

Speaking of Ike, let's hope for the best for Yoda, he is getting prepped, and of course everyone else in his path.

Re: 1.99 a gallon
Went from 3.29 this morning at 8 AM to 3.49 at 9:00 AM. Some places around here are already over 4 bucks a gallon.
Imagine if the seats in the dome were priced like gas: If we are favored to win, prices go up, we are supposed to lose, they drop.

Re: 1.99 a gallon
Way over 4.00 now in the Bay Area, but it was a fun getting gas at that price.

Re: 1.99 a gallon
It was $3.55 in VA yesterday. My sister called to tell me that it was $4.50 in Durham NC so I went and filled up.
We might be in for some crazy gas prices.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Re: 1.99 a gallon
It's amazing how oil can drop $43.00 a barrell since the spring and we see a 40 cent a gallon drop at the pump yet the possibility of damage in a refinery sends gas up $1.00 to 1.50 a gallon. Gotta love getting hosed by the man. Can you say record profits again.

Re: 1.99 a gallon
Update:
Our local Tower Mart went back to it's original price, yet today dropped it to 3.27.
They are taking a hit I'm sure, but they are on the consumers side. I thought I was going to see well over 5.00. This is the Bay Area after all. They were still lining up at the pumps today.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Truly I don't think Cali really worries about prices
