Is there an age limit for American Idol? I think you should try out for it AvengerRam. You could be famous.

My wife and I watch American Idol. She actually got me hooked on it.
The first few shows with all the crazy auditions get kind of old. Once they get to the hollywood stuff is when we really start to pay close attention.

Von....good voice...needs more voice control and not try so hard to show the power of his range...if he can learn some self control...he could go far.
Michael is a moron...his brother much more articulate...Michael has that lazy slur to his voice that screams "doper". However...the boy has natural talent and is much more exciting than his brother singing. Deserved to go through and I hate him. I can't wait until the little sister in the stripes becomes of age and competes. She's a hot little thing (meaning she has the American Idol look).
Vaughn...yellow blazer and orange pants...I sang this song "Do you want a banana" to AlphaRam during our vacation together at the Embassy Suites in Indianapolis.
Matt...likable guy...family man...people will like him...may make the final five...but won't win it all, however I like that he got through to live a little bit of his dream. Kinda like my being in training camp with the Rams, I knew I probably wouldn't make the team (I had hope), but just having the chance and being there has sustained me in my many years of life. I wish at least this for Matt as well.
Jasmine is too immature at the moment...maybe work at her voice and grow up a bit she can give it another shot in a couple of years. She was terrible, but I couldn't make myself hate her.
Jessica is an amazing young woman...taking care of her Grandmother like that...I love her. She is quality people. I predict she will lose weight,,, will get a good make over during the show that will bring out her sexiness...and I will be cheering for her to make the final five.
Asia and India...cute names...cute routine...Asia single...goodbye....India...very good...right choice by the judges and very cool that Asia was pimping her sister to go through...good sister.
Jamar...silly mohawk...pretty good voice...trying too hard to be powerful...settle down and be soulful...could have possibilities.
Danny...besides being a very good singer...all I can say is I'm balling like a baby...sad sad sad, but I love his upbeat and positive vibe coming into this competition under such circumstances (his wife died 4 weeks before the audition). What courage. Can we make this guy the new head coach of the Rams?
Anoop....noop....noop noop....(a little play on the Alyoop song from the fifties). Dorky outfit for an audition, but has a good voice...will make it to top 10.
Cheerleader girls...when the big girl did the splits...I could of sworn I heard a suction cup sound when she hit the floor.
Andrew boyband voice...geeky looks....simply wasn't going anywhere...musical theater...funny stuff.
Asa...fantastic voice...needs to learn stage presence and could go far.
Blond Michael with the bowl haircut...I can't imagine this guy procreating let alone having a singing career. I feel sorry for these delusional dupes that have been sold a bill of goods by well meaning friends and family that they actually have talent. It's those I blame for the pain this boy feels.
Dennis...great back flip...nice touch with the Simon dream bit to soften him up....unfortunately didn't have any talent to back it up. This guy won't be a singer, but I can see him acting...especially comedies. He was given a gift by the judges...one more round and he will be gone.
Mia....sleepy girl...love the hair color...hate the voice (although she hit that high note pretty good, except every woman I've made love to has hit that note too, so.....)
Lil...very talented...great voice and good stage presence....will go far...top five material...reminds you of Fantasia Randy?...please...she is soooo much better than Fantasia.
Still haven't seen "the one" that I will predict to win it all yet. Excellent beginning to the season so far.

Just a little observation at this point....appears the judges are reaching to get people through this week. Not impressed with who is getting the OK so far. Oh...by the way, the Haight-Ashbury segment...I swear I thought I saw myself in that....it was a great time in those days.
Akilah....she needs to learn to be literate before she attempt to sing a song, but she can kiss butt really good.
John...sounds good. Noticed he hails from Sherman Oaks, CA where they make all the pornos (don't ask me how I know)
Allison...Squeaky voice....can't believe they let her through
Raquel...very sexy...has that look that I like...oh, and she can sing
Annie...the choker was strange....gorgeous eyes...can't sing a lick...
Adam....very very good voice...this audition showed only one dimension....definately musical theater talent..if he can expand his range into the lower note range and adapt it to the diverse repertoire of American Idol's song list...he might go pretty far.
Kai...I love my mamma...Kalama...best voice of the competition so far...I agree with Simon...the personality is not going to win this competition. If he was more conceited, I would probably pick him to win it. He won't.
Overall, this was a disappointing episode as far as talent, but then again, they may have held back some of the better singers, which they have done in the past, and it makes me sooooooo mad. Have any of you found "the one" so far? Not yet for me.
Can't chime in as I tivo'd it and have not watched it yet. I will chime in tomorrow, but I must get a note book and pen.;)
I like Tatiana, she is an eye-candy. I think she was what the show was missing, some more spicy latina flavor. But, I agree with you that she won't make it past the first week. She had an okay voice and the constant giggling was driving me nuts too. Well, at least I'll be able to watch her again during "Hollywood Week." :D
I am so angry right now. I went to bed at 7:30 last night and when I got home today I found out that the Louisville auditions did not record on my TIVO last night (1-21). I suspect my son canceled the recording in favor of one of his shows, but he denies it. I'm desperate. Does anyone know where I can see a replay? I did some searching, but kept ending up on sites that are simply trying to download a trojan virus. Cheri...did you record it?
