Part of our vacation plans usually center around the NFL schedule. We are waiting to see when the Rams play in Philly this season. We will go to the Bash in St. Louis. We will go to Dallas for the Eagles vs Cowboys.

Going to San Diego, CA the end of March & Tampa Bay, FL mid April.

Just got back from Punta Cana. Excellent vaction! Highly recommend.

Well, my better half has landed a new job with a US law firm and is heading to NY and London for a couple of weeks in Easter. I'll be holding the home front and enjoy the tail-end of my Easter holidays, with only the local hostelry and a mass of DvD's for company.

2 weeks in Koh Samui, Thailand in August is to be my reward and I can't wait

Well, my plans to visit Jack and Lynne (AlphaRam and PA_gal_in_OK) this week are on hold due to it wasn't a good week to go out to see them, but with a rain check in my pocket, I did the only thing that could possibly live up to going wild in Broken Arrow Oklahoma....I booked a 5 day cruise. I'm on the Carnival Inspiration out of Tampa Bay (3-10) on my way to Grand Cayman Island and Cozumel Mexico as I speak (rented a laptop to keep up on Ram news).

My wonderful wife even let me go by myself! I will take pictures. Yes, your dreams will be answered when I post my gorgeous body in a speedo tanning on the white sands.

It is spring break for many schools, and the ship is loaded with college kids and teachers.....

It is a whole day of sailing today (3-11), so it's swimming, miniature golf, shuffle board, and dancing to live bands...

Well, it's back to the buffet and martini bar. I'll check in with you tomorrow after I get back on the ship at Grand Cayman Island....until then....

Well, here I am, just arrived in the port of the Grand Cayman Island (3-12)....

I had a feeling of anxiety as I spotted pirate ships anchored in the bay beside us....

But I gathered my courage and boarded the landing craft, leaving the safety of my cruise ship behind (mine is the big one in the middle)....

Alas....I was ashore and welcomed to the Cayman Island..

I then went scuba diving...here is my diving partner...

My diving partner decides she wants to take a nap...

...which was a mistake...because the fish then attack and devour my diving partner....

Shaken by the loss of my newfound and lost friend..I settle at the Hard Rock Bar and drown my sorrows....

But alls well that ends well...when I got back to the ship...I won $200.00 in bingo....so here's to what's her name....may she rest in piece.

I'll see you tomorrow when we dock in Mexico and I visit the Mayan ruins aboard an ATV.... till then my ClanRam brothers..

I thought about it, but decided not to as I elected to go with a smaller suitcase that I could carry on and the kilt would have taken too much space for a 7 day trip. Besides, I like to save that privilege for my ClanRam brother and sisters. Maybe on my next cruise you decide to join me.........

I can't believe your wife let you go a a cruise without her....LUCKY! My wife gives me a hard time leaving for a day or two without her. Hope your having fun!

Good morning...It is 3/13 thursday and I am arriving in Cozumel, Mexico....

It is a beautiful sunrise over the port of Cozumel and at 7 AM the temperature is 72 degrees...

Today we get to tie up right up to a dock, so no boat to take ashore...the water is crystal blue...and you can see 300 feet down to the bottom

I then went on an ATV adventure into the Cozumel Island jungle to see Mayan artifacts....

The first ruin we encounter is a Mayan celestrial temple where priests would study the stars...

Next is a Mayan burial tomb where the local governor was buried with his slaves and pets...it is also foretold that on December 21, 2012, the Mayan end of days will fall upon us...

We travelled over 20 miles over very rocky, dusty, and muddy terrain...and it was a blast...just look at my mud coated toothy grin...

We all took the bus back to town and stopped off at a little bar and drank beer and tequila shots...how I got back to the ship...I have no idea....

Tomorrow is an at sea day...I plan on sleeping in and relaxing...wish you were here (85 degrees with a cool breeze, clean air, and the stress melting away). Hey, maybe we can do a ClanRam cruise someday...get a group rate.
